    Mark, Are you flattening that with an old No°6? I thought you ran a L-N No°7 in this process. Maybe you mentioned it and I missed it, but surely a foreplane is appropriate over a jointer for many; at least me as well. 👍

      That’s an old No 8. Because I’m starting with pair of machined slabs that are pretty close to flat, I get to skip the rougher step of using a jack/foreplane.
