I remember seeing The Clash in Glasgow, Scotland in 1978. The audience all had flared trousers and long hair. By the next week, they didn't anymore. Ha-ha-ha-ha ! Punk had arrived.
"Garageland" Back in the garage with my bullshit detector Carbon monoxide making sure it's effective People ringing up making offers for my life But I just wanna stay in the garage all night We're a garage band We come from garageland Meanwhile things are hotting up in the West End alright Contracts in the offices, groups in the night My bummin' slummin' friends have all got new boots An' someone just asked me if the group would wear suits I don't wanna hear about what the rich are doing I don't wanna go to where the rich are going They think they're so clever, they think they're so right But the truth is only known by guttersnipes There's twenty-two singers! But one microphone Back in the garage There's five guitar players! But one guitar Back in the garage Complaints! Complaints! Wot an old bag Back in the garage All night
Give me this over the overproduced 💩 nowadays, talentless, feeding kids a false sense of security and totally exploiting the market. These guys were ALL talented and had passion for their music and their market. Saw them 3 different times, 3 different albums FANTASTIC 💥
R Mutt He was going to reform the clash but sadly he died.I think he would have pushed indie bands and I think for him 2016 would be the return of 1977 because of brexit,Trump and Syria. I guess we have to wait for the next clash band to come.
Yeah it's not a new pick, I've heard of people doing the talc pocket thing. Even tho you can see he's lost/thrown his pick leading up, his left comes from the pocket directly to the neck and a pick is not present. He resumes playing w the right without a pick, but a few edits later he has a new pick from somewhere.
Topper is unshakeable, steady and strong.
Human Drummer Machine
👂time slips, speeds up slightly
Still ❤ Topper
I swear music taps into something that is past this dimension. Imagine being there..

1985 国籍不明の
1985 飛行機が飛んだ
If Joe were alive today I wonder what he would be thinking?
on the state of the current music scene? - probably the same as the rest of us - complete bewilderment, disappointment and sadness.
He'd be thinking Fuck Trump and all the other Neo Liberal Facists!
R Mutt He was going to reform the clash but sadly he died.I think he would have pushed indie bands and I think for him 2016 would be the return of 1977 because of brexit,Trump and Syria. I guess we have to wait for the next clash band to come.
He'd be thinking get that God damned camera off the fucking stage!!
How did I come back from the dead?
They left out a an entire verse.
what does Paul Sim dig out of his pocket 1:16, it isn't a pick what is it?
A few seconds before you see him drop the first pick/plectrum .
I wonder if be had talc in his pocket to dry his hand.
bfjb70 That's a good theory! Every time your hands are getting too sweaty to grip just reach in your pocket.

I can't hear the words. They can't play and look awful. They'll go a long way
