I don't think Samsung will release a 65- or 70-inch widescreen monitor anytime soon, given the quality issues even with their 57-inch monitor. The VESA 100 Mount inclusion seems absurd to me. I've experienced problems too, like a persistent clicking sound on my second monitor. I hope it lasts, but with five years of extended warranty, I'm not too worried. If it breaks, I'll just order the next one. Regarding triple screens, seeing both rear-view mirrors depends on the setup and vehicle. Personally, I focus mostly forward, relying on a spotter for left, right, and cars info. LED flags or steering wheel buttons light up when a car is nearby. I used to prefer smaller setups, but the immersion with a giant panel is unmatched-it tricks your brain into thinking you're in a real car. Triples can't quite replicate that, but I get the preference. Anyway, enjoy your setup! 🚗
@@pgepplI HATE THE BEZELS ! I drive for a loooong time with my triples and Asus bezel Free but STILL I’m not used to it ! @bmwM3M5M6 there is absolutely no problem with 57“ and no bezel which was THE reason for me to go with that! No triple system can reach this level of Immersion! This is a windshield now like real and you forget that it is a monitor during racing 🤩👌👍

@pgeppl Hallo Phillip.

Why add a left monitor when you've got the ultimate setup - a 4K 57-inch spectacle that's practically a window to the world? I mean, who needs to see what's on the left when the real action is right in front? It's like driving in style, not through a Mac Drive, just to roll down the window and wave. Plus, we've got the rearview and left side mirrors as our trusty co-pilots, and if you somehow need more assurance, there's always the spotter. And let's not forget the cardinal rule - aesthetics matter! Adding a random left monitor? That's a setup faux pas. So, let's keep it real, 57 inches of perfection - action-packed and aesthetically on point!

Hard to say mate, is your wheelbase and monitor position like mine? As deep as it can? I do not use ACC but I can remember when tried to setup my FoV in ACC it was not that as in iRacing! Forget the FoV calculator and Imagine its the real car and adjust the dashboard height with the wheel and left mirror full + a bit window, then it should look like in iRacing and hopefully you like it then! I also do in iRacing always bit different adjustments with all the cars so just to look like real and going not always 100% with FoV calculator! You must feel it mate 🤜🤛 You can do this for sure! The only one who need to like it is you so adjust it as long as it takes but in the end you will love it 😊👌👍

@The_Mup So am I 🤷🏻♂️ And to be honest I love it as it is right now and your fantastic Idea would not fit my Motion setup at all 😉 See ya 👍
@The_Mup the issue is the side screens will be too far away from the driver making it feel like your sat on a ships deck lol
@pgeppl Hallo Phillip.
@@M.GasserWhich wheelbase you use ?
Could you please do a video in prototype cars?
yeah I would be interested in that too!
You mean that LMP stuff? Working on it 😁
@@pgeppl yes sir, the lmp/gtp
@@pgeppl yeah 963, ARX-06 etc... Great to hear!
Hi. Can you show us how you fix the monitor in the rig? What support should I buy?
Hi, I use the "Ultimate Rally FFB" from LukeSmall in Simucube 2 TrueDrive SW preset and all the InGame settings he posted! Just playing a bit with the FFB Strength because I use the Ultimate Simucube Wheelbase! That's it, that's all and it feels great!👍
Hi thank you for this video it’s exactly what i’ve been looking for to decide wether or not to buy this screen or any futur 57 inch
Could you please do another one of these with more single seaters? And prototypes such as the radical and lmp cars if you own them
And if you don’t mind could you do it for slower cars like the mx5 or gr86
I know it’s asking a lot but you’re the only person right now who has shown us this
Thank you again cheers
Hi mate, that was my intend to show you SimRacing buddies how this monitor performs and how the cars look on that! Happy to hear that you like that, appreciate any feedback 👌 Weekend is coming mate! I will do some other laps with some other cars and also my beloved Mx5! Stay tuned and if you like follow my channel so you don‘t miss up! Have a great day ✌️
btw for lmp cars there is already a video on my channel!
thanks for the video. been using a LG 42 inch OLED 120hz as my monitor for my rig, i was considering going triple 42 inch but the space i need is absurd. I think i will end up going for this monitor. In the interim, for immersion, i’m using Meta Quest 3 and it’s pretty good when it works.
Thanks for your comment! It‘s a good decision to go with this monitor! You will love it! 3x42“ would be great too but the Immersion with 57“ without bezel is just awesome mate 👌👍
@@pgeppl nice. 👍. how am i gonna sneak this into the house without the kids and missus noticing????!!!!! LOL
@@deesee76When the kids are at school and sent the wife to shopping, then you got plenty of time 😅
What is your PC spec? And also are u playing with 4k resolution or 8k (4k*2 i guess)?
Here is my PC Spec: pgeppl.at/pc/ and I use 7680x2160 as Resolution in iRacing! 👍
good day can I ask for pov settings, I also have this monitor and I am looking for good solutions :) thank you, best regards :)
hi there, nice to hear you have the same monitor :) Hope you are happy with it as I am :) My Eye's to Screen distance is about 60cm which gives me a FoV from 126! Have a great day
What do use for a Graphic card? The 57 inch monitor ia a 2 x 4k monitor with 16.58 mio pixels...thats tough... i have 32 inch triplescreen with 1440p , thats 11.05 mio pixels... i think that is enough for my RTX 3070 ti... but 5 mio more pixels is to hard for my 3070ti i think...
I use an overclocked Gigabyte RTX 4090 Gaming OC 😉 Also this is on the edge 🤷🏻♂️ But still I can race and stream/record at the same time 👌 Your card can handle this panel for sure you should decrease your inGame graphic settings but it will work 👌👍 you can use this monitor also with 1400 instead of 2160 😉
Came here looking for just this. I too have a 3070ti. But was looking to snag this monitor on the current deals happening. Leaving room for maybe a 40 or 50 series upgrade later down the line. This monitor feels pretty future proofed and I don’t see myself ever doing oled from the fear of burn in (I’ve had bad experiences with it in the past)
This monitor is perfect for SimRacing mate 👌 go and get it 👍
Looking great 👍🏼👍🏼🏁🏆🌟
wow. Plus it frees up DP for Varjo VR. Getting mine soon.
Yes mate! It's over with NVidia Surround On/Off and connect/disconnect Varjo Aero 👌👍 Just perfect 🥰
This is awesome!!! How do you like the Moradness gloves??
Thanks, the Gloves are perfect for SimRacing 👌
Hows the ghosting? With it being a va panel im hesitant and would just do a triple screen instead.
No ghosting at all! I can not detect! Just brilliant all time 👌
Hello sorry for my English, what is your fov and dimension of the Samsung you have notified in iracing monitor. Thank you
Hi there, this is the new Samsung Odyseey Neo G9NC 57" and with an Eye to Screen distance I have a FoV of 125 👌
Thank you Philipp, can you say me your distance between your eyes and the Samsung and the size of the screen that you gave in iracing monitor. I have the same screen as you but my fov is not as good. Thank you very much for the time you take to answer me
@@RCarsetCie Hi, Eyes to Screen distance about 60cm and I also forgot to change ScreenSize the first time. I entered about 1300 but please measure from top right corner direct to top left corner and enter this value! Thats it mate 👍
Damn, this will be the next upgrade...
Hye, Are you driving your M4 GT3 Wheel in a simcube or in fanatec?, amazing video btw

@@pgeppl How do you transform the Quick realease and the electronics?
@@branac0388 just check the reply above your comment bro 😉
What GPU are you running? What's your avg fps?
I am running a Gigabyte RTX 4090 Gaming OC with 60-70fps with maxed out graphic settings.
I was told that a graphics card G force GTX4090 wouldn't support this monitor and was told to go with the AMD RX 7900 series. Is that correct...
I really want to buy this monitor but I wanted to get the right graphics card for it. Any help you have much appreciate...
@@pgeppl Not worth to set everything to max, because the high settings reduce your fps, and you really not see the difference on the small details. I never playing a game with maximum grapics, and i get more fps, more smothness gameplay, and low input lag. High fps and low input, very important in simracing. Think about what i said. :)
I have a 4070 and I suspect that it wouldn’t run too well, thoughts? 🤔
Some of my followers are pretty happy with their 4070 combined with this 57“ panel! Go for it mate 😁👌👍
@@pgeppl thanks for the reply. It’s on sale right now too!
That sounds perfect for you! Get it, you will love it 😁👍
@@pgeppl Update: bought it last night but I can’t seem to run it steady at 60fps. It also seems stretched on the left side which is odd since the resolution is set to native 7680x2160. I’ll keep adjusting🤔
I feel like adding a left monitor would perféct the setup
La visuale più bella è quella della Porche Ciao Philipp!!
Hi, I completely resonate with your sentiment. The view from the Porsche is truly exceptional. Admittedly, I might be biased as a devoted Porsche enthusiast-90% of my time is spent on the track with the Porsche Cup. Porsche, to me, is the epitome of automotive excellence. The sound, quality (though I can't fully judge yet, having only been on the track twice with a real Porsche), it's unparalleled. Hopefully, I'll have my own someday. Wishing you a fantastic day, and perhaps we'll cross paths on the track. Ciao, and in bocca al lupo for your Porsche dreams!
Ive been considering what monitor to get" but this video just made my mind up🍺
@bricktop2090 Did you get it ?
Bad fov setup, but the 57” is great.
Hi there, do you have set it up as a triple-screen in ingame settings?
No! Why should I? There is no need todo that in iRacing 😉 You can check all my settings here: pgeppl.at
Danke, i schau mol : )@@pgeppl
danke nochmal. Ich hatte wegen der Multiscreenprojection leichte Verzerrungen bei den imaginären Bezels. Mit etwas Rumspielen beim Radius hab ich es gefixt. @@pgeppl
Do you think it could also work with an RTX 4080 ?
For sure mate!!!! Go and get one 👌👍🤜🤛
Can you adjust for the monitors curve?
No
@pgeppl you actually can I just looked it up. It's a setting where you input the monitors curve in R
@jonnylaris in iRacing YES! I did that for sure! Your question was not clear for me because there are panels on the market where you can physically change the curve! So maybe next time you ask in more detail 😉 Also when you would have visit my website pgeppl.at which is linked in my Bio you can see all my settings also this one 👍
No problems with the Monitor, is it still working?
Yes, it is still working and in perfect condition 👌
@@pgeppl i am in the planing phase und 3 screens vs 57" is a point on the List. So thank you for the videos.
Add back in two 27” and you’ll have the best of both worlds. Agreed you don’t really need to if racing formula style cars
😂👍
I'm pretty sure it's the height of a 32". It's basically 2 32" monitors side by side. It would be fun to see somebody put 32 inch monitors on the side though. Lol. I saw somebody put 2-27s on the side of the 49 inch Odyssey.
Even at 57 inches this will never be as good as triple 32 inch monitors, just can't beat them for that immersive feeling
That was also my thinking over 2 years with 3x32“ ;) But then I tried this 57“ panel and the Immersion is no more comparable without bezels! I also used Asus Bezel free but because there is nothing which disturb your view your brain tells you that this is a windshield and not a monitor 👌 try it if you have the chance!
@@pgeppl I tried the 49inch G9 and didn't like it it will take more than 57 inches to steer me away from my 32 triple setup. In use the bezel free but it took me a while to get it right and now it's perfect with no distortion. Cheers
You cannot compare the 49" with the 57" mate! I also owned the 49" before I switched to triples ;) 49" is not made for Simracing at all! But the 57" is :) Anyway I will stop here, I just tell you all that this 57" panel is more than any triple system can give you and it's on you if you believe it or not. I am out of this thread now, enjoy your triples and race hard :)@@adrianmilanesi9143
D@@pgeppl Don't you miss the right side and mirror of the car?
This vs 83 inch oled??
If you give it to me, I will mount it and test it 😁👍
On the other side I am not sure if 83“ would fit my living room 😂🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
This FOV make it look like you are looking through a backwards scope. Horrible, imo.
This was the first day of using this panel and I just wanted to show how this can look. If you are not satisfied with my content ... But please let me know what do you think about the FoV of my last PorscheCup Races!? Do you still think this does not look good? thanks
@@pgepplIt looks perfect man !
been struggling to get a good looking FOV for me with this monitor. Im also around 60CM to screen. Mostly Assetto Cora is the game I'm having trouble with. Any tips!? Everything always looks warped when using modern FOV calculator settings. I love the monitor tho...but I do miss my OLED. Took a lil bit of time to adjust in losing the OLED epicness lol. I still have OLED as my desktop monitor tho, LG C2 42.
