Thanks for posting; been wondering how you were. The R/T is a good start on a rat muscle car; I’ve got a soft spot for ‘67 hardtops - my first car was a ‘67 Coronet 440.
Its worth it if you have a title, start small, put a 318 in it. Starting small is good because you may be rebuilding the car 3 times in the next 30yrs, collect parts for her over time, like you said replacement parts expensive and one day give her the big block she deserves! Good Luck!

The Coronet is worth fixing. I believe most of the structure is the same at the 68-70 ... floors frame rails. etc. Very Desirable car.
Had a 67 GTX model car as a kid. Been in love with this body ever since. The coronet has cooler quarter panels than the GTX though.
