I bought something similar that had a channel with a razor blade in it that you run the wiper blade through and it cuts about half a millimetre of rubber off but the thing I had made my wiper worse and had to get a new one anyway! Haha
@@CB-RADIO-UK most things are that have been sold through tv shopping. Had a mate once buy some polish for his car that was the dogs for repelling water lol it took the shine off his car compleatly lol and wasnt even that good at repealing water hahaha
@@CB-RADIO-UK My mechanic talked me into expensive blades that have been in place for around 4 years now and are still OK. I am now a convert to high quality blades.
O god Fred this Video should have came with a horrible noise health warning😂🤣😂🤣. I would have given your blades a good scrub with warm soapy water 1st then buy a new set asap. I certainly worked after you gave it a good and consistent cleaning and refurbishment. If it can make your wipers last longer it is all worth it.
I think its worth a try Not sure i would bother with the front wipers though just get new blades. Cheers Andy.

I think it’s your windscreen that’s contaminated as well! That’s why there’s still rubbing noise
It says on the instructions not to use torn or broken blades

Most wipers go bad when they lose their rigidity and flop over to one side.

I always fit Bosch which seem to last 2 + years. The cheaper ones are dead within a year.
