I really like my Citizen NY0040. I sold my SKX007. In my opinion the Citizen is superior

I bought the citizen from Germany with a 8204 movement which hacks. Absolutely love it's build and I like that it's not a show watch that it doesn't have an exhibition back. Think that the skx is also a truely brilliant watch, well made and will last the test of time. Whatever one you get you can't go wrong.

I have the Citizen NY0040 and it has been a fantastic watch. I own a few Citizen and Seikos, and IMO the Citizen beat Seiko in every category.

For every Seiko... there's a Citizen counterpart....and in my opinion, Seiko kicks Citizens ass almost every time..... except here....this Citizen Promaster is better than the SKX....on me it looks better, wears better, and now that I have a hacking variant....it's the better watch...... especially with the underwear marker at 12.

I own the Seiko SKX009 and the Citizens NY0086 . I absolutely love both of them as they are both outstanding ISO rated divers . I have to say that the SKX009 is my favorite of the two .

I've never had the Seiko SKX prices are very high now but I did buy the citizen NE something with blue dial & Pepsi Bezel i paid around $180 dollar's very satisfied.

I bought my NY0086 Pepsi from a friend in my area used but in brand new condition for only $60 lol 😂. I almost felt guilty buying it lmao 🤣 but that’s all he was asking for it . I do also own the Seiko SKX009 as well. It’s really cool owning both have the best of both worlds.

@@1968jpy I'm bad with numbers but i think we have the same watch i paid $179 & I'm still happy. If you're looking for a good watch the Timex & Hodinkee Skindiver is another good choice .

Jusr checked Amazon, some fool is trying to sell a new 007 for $787. I bought a pre-owned near mint 007 last week for a bit more than it cost new. I was surprised by how good the SKX actually looks.
