I really love these kinds of medieval builds, been following for awhile and my favorite build was the botw hyrule castle.

I think you may mean SatiSim on the Hyrule castle, but thanks for the comparison that is high praise!

@TheSimScrolls ah yes sorry, you're the one that did the beautiful hogwards castle, how long it took you to finish that?

My Gosh, even the fact you had this mere idea to do this is in the first place absolutely mind-blowing! 🤩🤯 Your creativity is absolutely running wild, we love to see it!

It's always so enlightening and inspiring when a master builder like you shares their craft, especially with such a helpful step-by-step explanation. You know I love your ideas, and how you manage to make your creations functional always blows my mind. I probably won't use this trick (kind of careful with using too many objects in one build due to performance worries), but it's still fascinating to see what you come up with! 😁

Yes its definitely object heavy lol 😂 thanks so much for another kind and thoughtful comment Alisa! You never fail to brighten my day ☺️💕 hope you are doing well!!

Oh wow. I found out the basement/one level below trick by accident one day when I spent far too long trying to solve a pathing problem in a build. Glad to see others have figured it out and using the sub floor as a problem solving method.
To those who may still be confused by the video, just keep in mind that when you go sub floor, not to raise the item no more than 28 'clicks' above the surface of the subfloor. Higher than that, and you're now on the floor above and the path can be blocked by the item. This is because the item technically only exists as a solid object on the floor it is placed on. You can see it from other floors (as shown in this trick) but you only see it, your movement is not blocked by it.
This is a good tutorial, but you will need to put the subfloor pathing routine to use before you can completely understand how it works.
    Good job, nicely done.

Thank you! Happy you liked the tutorial. Yeah trying to solve pathing issues is a real beast sometimes! And thanks for providing extra tips to the viewers!
