Awesome video Ian, thanks so much for making this, did you say the white internal steel pipe is 24mm please, and the curtain bracket is 25mm. Absolutely Genius. Thanks so much. Hope you enjoyed your week off. Stay safe buddy xx
@sue keys so the pipe before it was squished by the locking screw is a 25mm outer diameter. When this is in the bracket it has 1 mm freeplay so the bracket must be 26mm inner. It is probably sold as a 25mm fitting. Hope that helps 😁
Hi mate, great work in making this work! Raising it up is super useful and I’m planning on doing the same in my camper. Bought that tap last night after watching your video and it’s already been delivered this morning. One quick question, what did you put around the pipe insulation to match the grey tap housing?
I used the pipe foam and then found a sticky back vinyl that was similar colour and stick that on. I'm planning on 3d printing some bits for it soon. So there might be a different look coming in the near future.
@@ChillVanlife You've got me thinking! 3d printing an extension definitely seems like being the best option. My bro has a 3d printer so thinking of giving it a go, just wondering how to colour match with the existing body. Have you come up with any plans on how you are going to do yours?
Not thought about it yet, I would want to build it from one piece or at least as few pieces as possible. Not sure yet what colour, I might try and find something the same but if that doesn't work then not sure. Watch this space, if I do it then it will be on the channel
@adam091080 in this video at this time you can hear the pump. If you do watch it then please watch a bit more than a few seconds or RUclips algorithm will think you just don't like the video 👍 ruclips.net/video/DsD1vMX_XHs/видео.html 11:19
Good idea, in fact I have just ordered the tap from Amazon based on this video, I have the grand tourneo version of your van
@Bob Lomax glad that you found the video useful. You won't be dissappointed with it 😁
thanks for tips

@Steve the Transit Camper cheers mate, I would have preferred a camping video but that wasn't possible. Thanks for watching 😁

@adam091080 thanks for watching the video. Hope it was helpful.
What diameter water pipe did you use or link please
@Bob Lomax I will have to have a look at my receipts and find out for you. I will let you know
How much this cost?
oh can you let us hear how loud it is on running?
@adam091080 it is a little noisy, I wouldn't say it is loud but I will see if I can find a video of it.
