Is Super Mario Sunshine better than Super Mario 64? [Review]

When I played Super Mario 64 for the first and only time, I was disappointed with it. I thought it was extremely overrated, and I was very vocal about that when I reviewed the game. Based on what I've heard about it, I've been looking forward to playing Super Mario Sunshine, which was the next 3D Mario game to be released, but considering what happened last time, I'm going into this cautiously.
