Yeah it's not cheap. But really not all that bad. I remember guys with the Genesis Coupes spending $3k on an exhaust and $1k on other bolt ons. So this car, as long as you stick with the affordable brands like I've done, it's pretty average for a few pieces.

@@BrosFOURRSpeed it’s certainly different here in the uk 🇬🇧 that’s for sure modifying a GTR here is mega expensive and I mean everything ! GTR tax is real

That'd be cool. But I really like the updates in the 2017+ GTR. Transmission is sooo much smoother, interior is nicer and it's just a step up. So in a few years this will go back to stock and I'll pick up a newer one ;)
Like I said in the video, just performance wise, it's around $5k. All the rest is more cosmetic. You don't need a $6k Armytrix exhaust. You don't need a bigger FMIC. You don't need fancy wheels, ceramic coating and tint. I literally said in the video how much just the power stuff is ;) Intakes, downpipes, flex fuel kit, tune, injectors and midpipe is all you need. That's about $5k. So actually you might have paid too much lol
Wow 5k isnt that bad at all.I did it for 7k including car .found an idiot to sell me an s55 amg for 3k and ordered pulley headers injectors interchiller & tune
$17k or $11k for performance mods and your only pushing 700hp. You can buy numerous vehicles for less and spend $11k to get 900 - 1,100 hp. What do you mean it's not that expensive to mod? You haven't scratched the surface for upgraded turbos and rebuilding internals. From what I'm seeing it's easily $70k to get into the 1,100 hp area.
Like I said in the video, the overall higher number was all of the modifications and items added to the car. Then I broke it down to only the performance. And I even talked about how if you go with not the craziest brand parts how it's even less. The GTR is one of the best bang for the buck cars to make power. You can make this a 700 HP car for just a couple grand. And yeah yu need at least $35k to get close to 1,000 HP
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I hope I didn't come unappreciative, I am a subscriber and REALLY enjoy your videos! The GTR is my next vehicle. I currently have an 03 Cobra and 15 Hellcat. The GTR will complete my garage. Unfortunately, 700 hp won't do me any good, already have that. I need a beast that'll walk away from my friends zr1 and viper. I see a couple in Chicago with 1300 and 1600 for 149k and 144k, respectively.
Very true! But you won't be able to put that power down or launch like the GTR. Power is cool. But you can only have so much in certain cars. GTR the way it sits hood all day long even in the cold and rain. My supra with 450 WHP can hook up worth crap under 50 degrees out side. So power numbers don't mean too much without traction. And plus, the GTR launch control will still smoke a Supra even if the Supra has traction ;)
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I have 0 problems putting the power down with 305/35 Nitto 555r2 tires. Sure, you can't launch from a dead stop without prep and plant the power on the street, however 90% of the random races you find on the street will be from a roll (so no real traction issue), and if you setup a dig race then just have some prep with you on hand, issue fixed. I don't race in the rain or sub 40 degree weather because it's dangerous AWD or not. If you want to do dig races against a supra, let's do it either at the track or on a prepped street, 1.3 60' is not a problem if you think AWD will save you, it wont. I dont think random stop-light dig racing is reason to buy one car over another. If you're going to dig race, prep the street or go to the track, if you're going to roll race (90% of the random races out there) then there's no problem, even from 30mph i can roll and hook.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed if you need any proof of my non-traction issue I'd be more than happy to provide videos of my personal car racing with complete traction from a dig/30 roll/40 roll/60 roll.
@@Imbatman177 That’s pretty awesome man! Definitely would love to throw some better tires on the Supra to get that traction. No doubt the Supra is a beast when modified. But as much as I love the Supra, even if it’s as fast as the GTR, it’ll always be half the car in the performance aspects. GTR is just a different level of that Supercar feeling. Supra has the awesome refinements tho and still is quick. Very different cars
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I think that seeing as how you have both cars, you’ve every right to your opinion (and it being worthy of credit). Myself having driven my brothers GT-R numerous times compared to my Supra I feel the opposite. Let me explain. The GT-R is a supercar killer, it handles great, responds well to modifications, and has somewhat of a stylish look... but older plastic interior pieces, expensive and heavy parts with a convoluted driveline, and its bland (un)sensational feeling when racing others... it’s not a tuner car for the true tuner... it’s not a practical car to work on in your garage; it’s a car you buy and then hire a shop to install parts for you. It’s very bland in that aspect. I’d like to think that most of us aspire to understand how their car works and do a lot of their own installations, not pay a shop to install everything for you. The Supra is truly easy to work on. Pure turbo install with all the room in the world in 45 minutes to an hour, or port injection install in 2 hours or less. Spark plugs in 20 minutes. You’re just not doing those things on a GTR without a struggle in your own garage... only to race a car with little to no excitement because of AWD and automatic. You’re right, they are very different cars. I love the GTR, but its like driving a MacBook.
I still say the only REAL Nissan is the rogue everything else is a horrible grocery getter lol in comparison Why would anyone need anything that has over 600hp that makes you feel your in a G-Force dream while accelerating? That’s just dumb
The rogue is cool, but just a normal suv, and that's the cool thing with buying cars you personally want and doing what you want to them. Yes it's a lot of power, but it's also incredibly fun and that's something I value in a car. It gets more fun every time I drive it and it's a hobby of mine. Feeling those G's is so much fun for me! I don't need too with the stock turbos. Stock trans can hold about 700 lb tq. My crank makes 700 HP. Torque is low 600s
I saw a car identical to this last week but wasn't nearly as customized as this one. Wow 17K?! I'm broke just thinking about that 😄😄
Oh cool! yeah it's got a pretty penny into it lol!
Good to know, Stage 2 for me be plenty of Power! - would that reach 650hp ish?
Stage 2 is a great step! Engine would probably be around 600 HP. So maybe mid 5s at the wheels. Stock 2014 makes around 480 at the wheels stock
@Bros Fourr Speed how has your experience been with the e85 tune from AAM
Fantastic!! Still need to get another tank through the car to ge the concentration up to closer to 80%. But we've been dialing it in and the car rips soooo crazy fast! Loving it!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed same here bro wish you were closer to the shop so you could have access to their dyno tuning. I'm going in tomorrow so they can redial everything in.
@@carzkickz2580 Yeah I know!! At some point I am ship the car there and do some things with them! But I’ll probably wait till I get into a newer GTR and do more with that one. You’ll enjoy yours! Let me know how much power you make!

@@BrosFOURRSpeed I will send you my Dyno sheet from the shop
Moral
Of the story is. I will never complain about the price of my mods again! Shit man I don’t know bro feel like they took your money lol, I’m at 655 whp and 641 lbs of torque and my performance mods cost less then Your mid pipe though exhaust. Smh crazy ! Just Burning f money!! Smh
What kind of car do you have? The parts on my car are pretty reasonably priced, especially compared to the high name brand products
There is never a budget with any car, always way over budget ;P haha Also you better of not got your new pants dirty LMAO ;)
I tried to keep a reasonable budget. But every mod made the GTR better and more fun. So things got away from me!! And don't you worry... keeping my new cloths clean!! ;)
What camera do you use?
This was filmed with the Canon M50! Links are in the description to the cameras we use!
Did you before use a Sony Alpha?
@@manveerghuman5276 yeah had the Alpha A5100 for the last 3 years. Those were great. But definitely enjoying the upgrade
@@BrosFOURRSpeed cool, you've convinced me to get a Pearl White 2016 Nissan 370Z Nismo, I'm getting it soon! Also planning to do the AAM exhaust and cold air intake upgrades!
Homework
Thanks for checking out this video!
Good job.. but don't you spend your money 🖤
lol. All business expense for me. And it payed off very well. All worth it tho! GTR is a better car modified!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed of course but keep your money for a future bro
@@KAZUYA-ITA10 Oh I am. Building for the next stage of life and always planning ahead 😎
@@BrosFOURRSpeed ok bro
Damn I said 15k I was close !!!! 😂
Nice man! Good guess! If I didn't have the Armytrix, you'd be right on the money!
Never cheap to modify a R35 GTR not with the GTR tax!
Yeah it certainly isnt cheap. But it's really not much more then other cars. Even when I had the Genesis Coupe, people where spending $3k on exhaust systems and $1k on intercoolers and intakes. So honestly as long as you stay away from the high dollar brand parts, it's not too bad for how much better the car gets
@@BrosFOURRSpeed it’s certainly different here in the uk 🇬🇧 that’s for sure modifying a GTR here is mega expensive and I mean everything !
GTR tax is real
@@chrisvectra5296 oh wow! I know shops will charge a fortune to do the work on the cars. But if you can do installs yourself. Makes it pretty cheap to mod
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I do most things myself like oil changes brakes etc
The only thing it’s been in the shop for is the transmission and diff services
Please take good care of this car, like your child.
Oh I have been!! Still in perfect shape! Love this car!
can i buy ur car
For $95k sure! Market is crazy hot on these now and they just keep going up in price!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed ok i'll just ask my dad lol i'm 14 and am trying to find a job but that car is a beauty
Great video 😊
Well, 700 horsepower
All very well worth it! Love the GTR the way it sits!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed and the performance
@@mileslynch heck yeah! It’s fast enough now and is a blast!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed would you ever race another RUclipsr’s cars against the GTR
Absolutely! Two years ago I raced StreetSpeed717 in his ZR1 Corvette at the drag strip. My car was stock at the time and his car couldn't even touch me! ruclips.net/video/EUXw5DO6tL4/видео.html
Facelift it now without selling this and starting again
That'd be cool. But I really like the updates in the 2017+ GTR. Transmission is sooo much smoother, interior is nicer and it's just a step up. So in a few years this will go back to stock and I'll pick up a newer one ;)
@@BrosFOURRSpeed 👍👍
$5,000 = SBD
What is SBD?
@@BrosFOURRSpeed think speed by design package
You paid to much for 700hp!! I have 700hp in for around 7k
Like I said in the video, just performance wise, it's around $5k. All the rest is more cosmetic. You don't need a $6k Armytrix exhaust. You don't need a bigger FMIC. You don't need fancy wheels, ceramic coating and tint. I literally said in the video how much just the power stuff is ;)
Intakes, downpipes, flex fuel kit, tune, injectors and midpipe is all you need. That's about $5k. So actually you might have paid too much lol
Wow 5k isnt that bad at all.I did it for 7k including car .found an idiot to sell me an s55 amg for 3k and ordered pulley headers injectors interchiller & tune
#builttNOTbought 💪🔥 😆
lol, no even close. Did everything myself on this car
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Read that again 🥴
@@SilverScarletSpider hahaha totally read that backwards 😉😜
I still say the only REAL Nissan is the rogue everything else is a horrible grocery getter lol in comparison
Why would anyone need anything that has over 600hp that makes you feel your in a G-Force dream while accelerating? That’s just dumb
The rogue is cool, but just a normal suv, and that's the cool thing with buying cars you personally want and doing what you want to them. Yes it's a lot of power, but it's also incredibly fun and that's something I value in a car. It gets more fun every time I drive it and it's a hobby of mine. Feeling those G's is so much fun for me! So it's dumb to you, but part of my life for me, and puts a smile on my face! Everyone is different..
