    Coming from a WRX STi with a stage 2 package and a base map that ran very poorly, I would personally invest in a Protune (custom tune on the dyno) after all the bolt ons to ensure everything is running top notch. The tuner then saves the custom up to your Cobb Accessport as well as the factory map in case you want to revert back and sell the car stock without the mods. Nice video.

      Bros FOURR Speed I’ve had that rattle for a year, but been too afraid to ask about it for fear of it being $1000’s. Much like how the rotors all tend to crack. Watched this video thinking, oh boy another gtr video where someone says buy this crap. Got to brakes and was like...... wait. No f’in way. Went straight to the gtr and poked that pin rattle. I’ve checked my cv joints, my front shocks, my exhaust. Thank you so so much. I never would have found this until I did a full brake replacement

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed
      @BrosFOURRSpeed  5 лет назад +6

      Bros FOURR Speed I really appreciate it man. The video was good, and I commented on your tail as turn, but if you want a remote start for the gtr I had one mad that’s plug and play. I can point you in the direction if you’d like. I’ll try to upload a video on it but it takes 5 minutes to install and I use it constantly, there’s even a phone app version that allowed you to see where the car is anywhere in the world and start it from your cell phone

  • @drizztatk
    @drizztatk 4 года назад +1

    I don’t know much about GTR’s but the Cobb accessport I do know. It’s a great tool but the tunes on there are generic. Now they might have the tunes on there pretty close to perfect for 99% of GTR’s out there...but they are not specific to YOUR car. If I bought a GTR, and hopefully one day I will, if I were to get the accessport, I’d definitely splurge on a dyno tune to get that baby perfect. Just my 2 cents and great vid dude, love the car. Looks like a quick search for low mile 2014s and they are about $70k. Almost in my wheelhouse!

      I ran the Cobb off the shelve stage 2 map, and it ran really good! Way more power than stock. Now I'm on a stage 3 map that I've done data logging with AAM Competition. Running strong! Eventually I'll do some custom dyno tuning

      Whenever you do the tune, it should be setup for whatever is on the car. I had 2.75in intakes and a midpipe with no tune. Thats fine to do. But once I did the 3in intakes, I needed to run the tune. Then every part I added, my tuner would update the tune to optimize power. Currently on E85 making 700hp

      I think it was from my Cobb access port being plugged in, somehow it was staying on while the car was off and I think that was draining it, I haven't had any issues now since I keep it unplugged unless I need to use it.

    Even though I’m considering a 2017 GTR Nismo, among other cars in that price range, V6s inherently don’t sound very good. Also I really wish I was manual.
    The 911 and Viper that I’m also looking at both come in a manual.
    I just really like the way the Nismo looks. The 2020 Nismo jumped to 200K!
    That’s way to much!

      Here is my current setup with a full Armytrix catless exhaust. Sounds amazing! I definitely love it! ruclips.net/video/1mpJ50BXoIA/видео.html
      I would never spend $200k on a GTR tho. Such a rip off. You're just paying for all that carbon fiber. I love the Premium. Nearly the same car and normal people will never use all that racer stuff in a Nismo. Also a manual I think would be way too slow to keep up with the power. GTR is a handful especially full bolt ons and tuned. Love my car!

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed
      @BrosFOURRSpeed  4 года назад +1

      I'm not 100% sure. But just a tune should get you a solid 50 HP. Then doing the bigger intakes with the stage 2 should be another 50. Injectors and downpipes can add closer to 100HP gain. So around those figures. The stage 1 tune didn't seem too big of a difference. But the 3in intakes and stage 2 was a drastic increase. same for stage 3

      No it’s not. This has been a running joke for years about the GTR.
      It’s a kids cars that is controlled by electronic nannies allowing any child to drive it.

      @BrosFOURRSpeed  5 лет назад +1

      Have you driven a stage 3 straight piped GTR?

    • @miketheman4341

      Bros FOURR Speed
      This is where you start talking about a modified GTR that you have never driven on an actual track. Not drag racing nonsense!
      A TRACK!
      An actual course with banks and turns.
      More HP does not make it any better in terms of a sports car and it certainly does not make it less reliant on electronic nannies. Lastly it’s always been a terrible street car which has not changed. It’s a great car for dental work given it’s terrible ride quality.
      Try looking at every year of the MT Best Drivers Car competition since 2012. There is a Porsche in the top 3 every year while winning the top spot more years than any other car maker. Now where is the GTR in this most coveted contest?

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed
      @BrosFOURRSpeed  5 лет назад +1

      I have driven on the track many times in my 370Z's and the GTR. Just because Motor Trend says something doesn't mean its true. Go buy a GTR and see what you think of it. Theres a ton of drama using it as a daily and a toy. To each their own..

    The black parts at the rear is litterly the ugliest thing you can do to a R35 GTR, no idea why people doing that.. striping upfront would be nicer if it was a orange ish color to match the calipers. But gotta say i love the grey color on the car even tho it seems boring it fits it really well.

    How about you replace the battery/fix the alternator instead of jumping it every time the battery dies.... lmao

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed
      @BrosFOURRSpeed  4 года назад

      Even though the battery dies, doesn't mean it needs to be replaced. I've only had to jump it a few times and found out my tuning device was draining the battery, but after leaving it on the tender when I don't drive it, I don't have problems. And the alternator is fine.
