I highly recommend picking up a bicep band (out of stock until March). My HR tracks 100% against a Polar H10 when on the bicep. I have also had good luck using a long nylon strap I picked up off Amazon that allows me to wear the CardioMood on my forearm.

Thank you for the detailed overview! You mentioned it is essential for you to understand if you can push harder on your training. Are there any metrics like strain/effort in this app? Or is it just the Readiness score?
Thanks for watching and for your question. Currently the readiness score is the main metric. There is no output on strain/effort other than the heart rate measurements. When recording a workout you can see the heart rate tracked and the app puts that into zones in the graphic using colours, time and percentage so you can see at what point you were at max effort and where you perhaps could push harder.

I have had no reply from cardiomood by email or social media for months unfortunately, despite them being helpful and responsive initially they haven't looked into the code not working and also haven't honoured their part of the affiliate agreement. They do have other codes on their site if you are set on getting one.
