How do you delete multiple rows at once that are not next to each other! Such a pain, I don't understand why this is not an option, the delete rows button greys out and if you press 'delete' key, just the text within the rows is deleted, not the row itself.

Yeah, unfortunately Word deactivates all these options when selecting multiple non-adjacent rows. I also run into this annoying issue a lot :/

Was just having this problem. Highlight the rows you want to get ride of. Hit "Alt + a" and then, in sequence "d" then "r" (you don't hold them down) and they'll all be deleted at the same time.

That is weird. In this case, I'd try to delete the whole table to see if that works. Maybe also restart Word.
