      beside the fact that Saudi Arabia is not all about desert..the western region "Tihamah (Look for wiki)" are known for mountains, valleys and moderate whether and towns like Macca, Taif and under that till Yemen and that's why even centuries ago a lot of activity, trading and towns were there in addition to that it was like a resting place and those who come from the middle of desert who have no home land and keep travelling called "Bediouns" even that when some of them come to the towns and populations they being called "savages" or "toughs" by urban Arabians who settles towns and cities like in the western region and the known tribes there.

      Abdul Gemayyel
      Persia is the historic name of Iran, In 1939 the king of Persia changed the name of country from Persia to Iran for more union in the country Because not all the people in Iran speak Persian but also there are about 10 different speaking languages in Iran and one of them is Arabic. Persian were the first people in the area to using the gulf and it backs to 3500 years ago and in all historic maps from Greek to Roman it named Persian gulf, the world have known this gulf as a Persian gulf and I am not agree with you that most people on the Persian side of the gulf are speaking Arabic maybe only 20% and its actually their second language and all of them are proud to be called a Persian or Iranian. So remember that Persian is not a language it is a nationality also.

    Saudi Arabia is a political aberration. It’s made up of cultural, religious, and historical areas that have never had any real kinship or sense of shared purpose. As soon as the oil revenues start to dry up, the central government will completely lose their legitimacy. I predict that the country will be forced to federalize sometime within this century. So you’d have the Hijaz, North Yemen, Wahhabistan, Hanbalistan, and the East. And Saudi Arabia will cease to exist as a major player in the Middle East.
    But just to think aloud a little bit further, maybe this federal state with a weaker central government would attract other countries on the peninsula to join it, each subunit having its own set of laws and social rules. It could be the Switzerland of the Middle East.

    Stop talking nonsense. Its just geographical name. If for instance Saudi Arabia was a country in XIX century gulf would be named differently, but since it was not there they caled it Persian gulf-becuase Persia was there. Similar story with India and "Indian Ocean". Or maybe you want to put claim on that too. Beisdes I don't care, nor my country nor any of our nieghbours have interests there so suit yourself.

    Yeah... we don't care. Maybe we would if you didn't labeled us your enemy. We name gulfs around the world how we please. You wan't to change that, start by being nicer to random youtuber. But even then there are some names that aren't going to change no matter what. Look at the canal that divides UK form France. It has two names, one French and one British. No one is going to accept change in favour of somebody else. So you go name it as you want, we stick to our tradition.

    Even if its an islamic state, you still have a leader, dont you want a choice on who leads you?
    or would you rather just follow the first dictator/sheik that claims hes the most upstanding to tell you how/what to think via his iterpretation of the quran?

    I don't know if you noticed, but this "celtic knowledge" is running ther world for past 400 years, and contribution of your civilization during that time to human progress is next to zero. We did not do it to you, you did it to yourself long before europeans become world powers. If not for that, as you already pointed out, you should rule the world, because you were more advanced in past. WERE. European conquest was effect of modernization, not the other way around.

    The naked truth, Saudi Arabia is expected to be a net oil importer in 17 years, according to T. Boone Pickens, and less than 30 years, according to the Wall Street Journal. Saudis will have their geographic challenge cut out for them. The real challenge for Saudi Arabia from now until kingdom come will be fresh water, and getting its indolent and profligate population to adjust to a lower standard of living and to lower expectations. The House of Saud has squirreled away so much wealth abroad that it will not be much affected economically. Politically, I hear a different tune.

  • @Zarrov
    @Zarrov 11 лет назад

    No. There is no such thing as western celtics, you manufacaured this term. The only way you can categorize nations of Europe is by language which is, mind you, often hugely differentiated despite ancestry. Therefore you have romance languages, germanic languages and slavic languages. There are also ugro-finnics. But even within such groups you have languages and ethnicities which are hugely different, just look at English and German, beeing in germanic group. You have no knowledge.

      Nathalie Golding, because of various reasons. 1. ruling families are rival 2. there are some religious differences (Omanis are Ibadi, many Yemenis are Shia Zaidi, Bahrainis are majority Shia Jaffari, Saudis are majority Sunni Wahhabi,....) 3. different populations have different background for example Iraq has many non-Arab Turk or Kurdish folks, some other have mixed African decent and so on. Many people in this region are not originally Arabs but have been Arabized over centuries. Original Arabs are from Yemen and Saudi Arabian region. People of Iraq and Egypt are majority Arabized folks. Egyptians were Copt and Iraqis were Sumerrian, Akkadian, Assyrian, Babylonian. Syrians used to be Aramaic, Lebanese were Phoenician and so on. 4. Because natural resources; for example countries which have oil and gas don't want to share their wealth with other Arab countries. 5. because of geographical location and historical dynasties who ruled each part of the region. 6. Because of the form of government: some are absolute monarchy, constitutional monarchy, oligarchy, half monarchy half theocracy, democracy, dictatorship and so on.

      Rz kgb majority of suadis aren't whabbi, in the west they are either only sunnis or sofis, in the south they are either shia or sunni shafei, in the cities near jordan and kuwait they are also sunni shafei, in the east near bahrain in al-qatif and tarot they are shia jaffari, also NO arabs are from yemen, this stupid rumor made by arabs is not true, arabs are from ishmael, please search "shem family tree" and look at Eber, he had two sons and one of them is called Yoktan, the father of yemenis, he had sons like sheba (later is the famous kingdom of sheba) and he had hadramoveth, a mountain range named after him as hadramout, also the language made by Yoktanites is sabaean, later arabs adopted it, the language is called the misnad langauge, also ALL civilization is by the yemenis, like Aad, thamud(madain saleh) in hejr, kendah, lakhmids, gassanids, sheba, hadramout, and the jewish himyarites, and they are also related to people from socotra, and ethiopia, because of the axum empire, only nabteans, quraish, and garrhum are were civilized arabs, and phoenicians came from arabia, they immigrated due to climate change, there home country is bahrain.
