This is turning out absolutely amazing! Also excited to see you had a crew helping you out with all of that!
Thanks man! Absolutely couldn't do it by myself 😅
Its cool to see a breakdown of material costs, but I see a lot of comments forgetting about man hours. Like lets say you paid everyone a minimum wage of $15/h (realistically I would hope higher than this), at the hundreds of man hours mentioned so far, you are easily looking at having labor costs be equal to if not greater than the material costs (assuming helpers are paid and not volunteers). I work for a company that does custom 3d printed statues like this, and I know that after including the time to make a custom 3d model from scratch we are easily reaching tens of thousands $ for final price the customer pays.
Oh yeah the man hour cost will probably be 3-5 times as much as the material cost
So incredible to see these statues evolve as you guys make progress towards completion - thank you for sharing with us!
Been enjoying watching this project come along, Keep up the good work y'all! Also Holy crap, I used only a third of the primer and spot putty y'all used for one of my recent projects, I can't imagine how long thats gonna take to get that floppy faced dinosaur sanded down. You're doing great!
I was wondering if there was anyway I could pay extra or smth to get a smaller clone suit 3D print file cuz it’s for 6ft ppl and I’m no where close to that if not it’s fine I understand it’s very hard to make these
If you're going to keep up with these Life Sized builds you might want to think about getting a paint gun haha. It's looking great!
Paint gun would be nice but what we're lacking is a proper enclosure and ventilation for it
Now take him to a professional statue maker and get him cast in bronze lol
1:13 best part of the video IMO
He's absolutely incredible. I love seeing my favorite halo character be brought into life-sized 3D
I hope a grunt is next
So instead of the small tubes of bondo why not buy the gallon cans?? It’ll save money. Also with the spray primer. Buy a cheap spray gun and mix your own. It’s so much cheaper that way.
I feel like you need to do a life-size Space Marine next!
Not that you would want to but you could probably sell life size arby for $20k+
So me and my bro took guesses on costs. He thought 1000, I thought 1500. The actual total is somewhere around 2264, I think. That's crazy. I really hope your work pays off in the end. Maybe you could sell it for 5000 dollars
Thank you but it's worth way more than that to me
@@GalacticArmory i know, just estimating a sell price. If I made that, I'd put it in a plexiglass display case and have it properly lit up and everything
@@A_Productions The man hours alone make this thing worth a decent bit more than $5,000.
What filament did you use?? How many kilo??
This is so awesome. How solid are these by the way?
Have you figured out the energy sword? Its looking amazing!
Yes! The legendary Sean Bradley is working on it for us! It'll be the grand reveal
@@GalacticArmory that's so freaking cool!
@@GalacticArmory I pretty much got into 3D printing originally because I wanted to make an energy sword, and his sword was my inspiration.
Hot diggity dog that’s coming along!!
Can’t wait to see that this looks like when it’s done
looks so good bro
Looks great!
Will the Arbiter be making an appearance at DragonCon??
Sadly not this year
Arbiter is looking amazing! I didn't realize you moved into another studio, I'm so happy you are getting to live your dream been watching since you was printing in your apartment
The project has come so far!! I remember the planning after finishing master chief
This is looking awesome. Can't wait to see the finished build
Dude I never thought it would get this far, been following since the beginning, congrats!
It’s looking amazing! This statue does not disappoint, even at this stage!
This build is insane! I remember the first video of it
