coming from a different NHL team fan, askarov is an amazing goalie and i love how this team single-handedly have brought in SJ fans back to the stadium after last year. SJ is a much better team this year, and it is definitely shown by the difference in how many seats they fill

In his 7 games he's already played at a level above most starters in the league despite the fact that he has one of the worst defenses in league in front of him while also not having Walman on the ice whose head and shoulders the best defensemen on the team.
@@wisewolftony means nothing, look up Andrew Hammond, he had an incredible run in Ottawa that one year even though he was still very new to the NHL, but he has failed to replicate that the following year and became a nobody after couple years. #1 goalies aren't made overnight

The sharks are absolutely a weak team. Look at their futile efforts to establish any offensive zone presence in their recent games against the Flames and Flyers. They also have the worst defensive depth chart in the league. Any team that has a roster spot for Vlasic has a lot of work ahead of it.
