I've been watching your amazing videos. I'm a novice, but have learnt so much from them. I'm wanting to make a tufted headboard, but want to make a frame using timber molding/picture framing. Have you got any videos on doing such a headboard?

Question: can you please provide some guidance as to which type of board is better for ottoman and sofa? Either MDF is better or plywood?
No body actually address this question in their videos.
Plywood or HDF is much better because they can carry a relatively stronger compressive force and hold nails and screws better. MDF is however more affordable and you can use those metal screw holes for were you'll need to add screws to increase the nail holding capacity. MDF are not advisable for sofa projects though but can be used for wardrobes, ottomans and other non-load carrying furniture. hope this helps a year later 😉

How do you measure for the side cover so that it’s not too tight or too loose?
How do you calculate the diamond pattern size on the fabric (in relation to the diamond pattern on the wood plus the thickness of the foam)?

Can you build a King size Upholstered Tufted Storage Bed? I’d really love to see you do it, there isn’t a lot of videos with enough detail.
Pretty sure that would be the exact same process, just wider. I don't think you would need to make it deeper, and height wise, you would want to check your own bed setup. I'm thinking of doing the same
