You do such fantastic work 👏. The triangle tufts are beautiful. Every one of your "tips" are seriously great tips!! The way to keep dust out, the proper way to make a template first, and the tricks of using the circular tool on reverse to get the foam out. Thank you for your time and the wonderful style of teaching. I have learned more from 3 of your video's, then in classes , asking to watch or get help from someone who is making what I want to learn to do... you are really so helpful. With sincerity, Audri
Omg my next project was my vanity chair which looks exactly like that! Thank you for this! Love your videos very informative and entertaining please keep them coming!
Great class , Not so sure I am up to doing this project just Yet. But every time you do a tufted piece of furniture I watch I will try it on a piece of wood soon Thanks Again
Greetungs from sunny Florida! This was a great video--very clear and understandable. I appreciated the way you told us what the materials were as you used them, because I'm learning from RUclips tutorials like this, rather than taking a class. Good job! 😊👍
You are amazing! Thank you for sharing your skills and knowledge with us. I could say that after watching your video I feel confident to start some projects that I’ve been on procrastinating for years. Thank you 🙏🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hi Stu, I think the hardwood was 2x1. And the ply top would be 12 or 18mm. Hope this helps. Don't forget to check out www.thefaceliftacademy.com 🙏✂️🪡⛏️🧵🧷
HI Laila! Thank you for watching! I buy my hessian from Martin's Upholstery Supplies but there are loads of different upholstery suppliers if you're outside of the UK (and even in the UK). I use 12oz on chairs and sofas too. Outside backs you don't have to use hessian, you could also use fabric lining but its up to you.
Brilliant video, really enjoyed it. Quick question, with the diamond planning, where can i learn a bit more on this as I drew some lines and got somewhat confused in the planning of diamond positions? It ended up looking like a baby had scribbled all over my foam :)
Hi Lou! Thank you for watching. If you’re just needing it for a small footstool - have a look on eBay as most foam suppliers tend to prefer foam to be bought it larger quantities. But you should be able to get smaller quantities on there 👍🏻
Thanks for your reply ❤️ Ive watched a couple of your videos and I am in love! Theyre so helpull and informative. I am waiting for my day off to binge all of them and learn so many things. Keep up the good work!
@@faceliftinteriors I thought you mentioned at some point, that you were in Australia! Now I also wish I was in London!! At least, you are getting closer 😅
Hey, amazing video and vibrant personality! I subscribed midway through the video. I was wondering where you got these materials from? And is the stapling tool called staplegun?
Thank you for watching and subscribing - I really appreciate it! I only know of where to get upholstery supplies from the UK - Livedale, GB foam, Martins upholstery supplies. But outside the UK I’m not overly sure. Yes it’s called a staple gun…in the UK anyway, not sure if it’s a universal term!! Hope this helps 😊👍🏻
Great work! Question: can you please provide some guidance as to which type of board is better for ottoman and sofa? Either MDF is better or plywood? No body actually address this question in their videos.
Not me watching this thinking I’m going to save a fortune, before looking at the cost of the tools I’d need and realising I may as well buy one brand new, unless I plan on upholstering forever :(
Yea some of the tools aren’t cheap so I would only invest if you’re looking to make it a hobby. But you never know, you might catch the upholstery bug once you do your first piece 😉
hello sir how are you all your work videos on youtube i see i am also a craftsman of this work i want to go to your country to do this work in your company now i am currently doing this work in libya and whatsapp number

Hi Nigel! It’s a Bosch GSG-300 😁👍🏻 thanks for watching!
Thanks for another great video. Please could u list were to purchase hessian from. Do u also use 12oz Hessian when lining arm chairs or sofa? Thanks

Ah thanks mate! 😊👍🏻
@@faceliftinteriors good to see some hardwood on some furniture alot of this mass produced stuff is all mdf and soft wood. 👍
Brilliant video I'm attempting my first footstool, could you tell me where I would get the white foam from?
Hi Lou! Thank you for watching. If you’re just needing it for a small footstool - have a look on eBay as most foam suppliers tend to prefer foam to be bought it larger quantities. But you should be able to get smaller quantities on there 👍🏻
Good going mate, you’re doing well! Beats pushing crap round terminal 5 😃
Haha thank you so much mate, have some great memories from terminal 5! Hope you’re doing well, nice to hear from you mate 👍🏻
Love it
When I've pleated corners in the past I usually pull the cover down tight first and the two pleats fall into place nicely, just my way of doing it.
Hi Dan! Yea this is another great way of doing it 👍🏻👍🏻
Hello! Just to clarify, were you using inches when measuring out the diamonds?
Hi Phyllis! Yes I was measuring the diamonds in inches! Thanks for watching!
Measuring fabric to precut 8:51
Piping 17:26
Where can one buy prong buttons?
Hi Klaudia! You should be able to buy them online - even EBay! 😊👍🏻

Now I understand why tufted furniture cost so much..lots of work..looks great..and ? What does something like this cost on average?
Hi Caren - send me a message over on Instagram and I will give you an idea on what I’d normally charge for something like this 😊👍🏻
Very nice
Thank you!
I can't even imagine the number of hours this must take.
A few 🤣
Great work!
Question: can you please provide some guidance as to which type of board is better for ottoman and sofa? Either MDF is better or plywood?
No body actually address this question in their videos.
Hi there! Thanks for watching! Ply is stronger than MDF but for sofas I would use hardwood for the frames. Hope this helps 👍🏻
Incredible; thank you for sharing your talent! Followed you on IG :)
Ahh that’s really appreciated! Thanks for watching 😊🙏🏻
I lost my MIND when the foam cutter came out. I need one 👀
Haha! It cuts so smoothly doesn’t it 🤩
Could you please go through the way you do your invert v tuck a bit slower to show the trick and best way to do this . Thanks in advance.
