Thanks for the advice but it still didn't work. At this point I've lost all hope for DayZ. It's been out 7-8 years and it still struggles to do the most basic of things. Joke of a game
Update: after uninstalling the game and dzsa launcher many times it finally worked on the last go before I was Gunna leave it for good. Honestly it could of been just luck but I did move it to a different hard drive though so I'm guessing that's what sorted it. There always a way to fix! But not going back on my word of this game is still a joke. Shouldn't of taken as much time as it did for such a simply thing to fix

I'm gonna join that server septic falcon when I get home today,iv been playing on the same vanilla server from I started but its pretty dead atm,if I join that server will I be a fresh spawn or will I spawn with my gear from the server im in now? Hope to see you on the server one day👍

DZSA launcher always gives me the "cant find a instance of steam running", and i tried every available fix. joining a modded server over dayz launcher, I always get the BPO error for the MMG base storage mod
how do i fix the dayz version mismatch

i had no issues joining modded servers until i join armx after that i could join any other server but that one and i was getting the pbo error this didnt work for me and i cant find anything that will work for me if anyone knows anything help would be much appreciated

There's some new issue with dayz and the dzsa launcher or steam workshop not updating and not allowing you to play, the old fixes don't work and you can't play

my game doesn't go on any kind of server with any kind of character. I've tried everything, but when I click play the button is locked and all the menu options are free, for example I can change the character and he starts to make T pose. I uninstalled and installed it again and I can't solve it, and consequently I can't play the game in any way

Tried uninstalling the game and removing every single mod, then reinstalling and re-downloading every mod again. Still didn't work. Impossible for any of those mods to be not updated since I've redownloaded them ALL over again.
i feel like im having a similar issue, i uninstalled all my mods and when i press play or load, it doesnt give me the pop to download the mods just takes me straight to the game and then kicks me out with the pbo issue
a year late but uh one wayyou could try is to directly delete either the workshop folder or locate the mod in that folder itself and then redownload from the steam workshop

man these videos are always so easy. then you try it yourself and it doesnt work. always an error or infinite loading screen. the video isnt complicated at all but i wish it was more simple and straght forward.
I'm missing 2000 servers on dayz community and all my friends have them any idea why that is

This shit is annoying with all the extra hoops you have to jump through to play on PC, but it's worth it. It's nice to just load it up on console, but it's just not as good.

Marks please help, What if the server i am looking for isnt on DZSA launcher?
Try looking for it on the vanilla launcher and if u can't find it then you should try contact the server owner
@@Marks12 Yeah I can’t load it for some reason on the vanilla launcher, thanks for the help but i just gave up and am currently spending 2 hours downloading different mods for another server :(

The PBO error is when there is an update for the mod displayed and either the mod hasn't been updated on the server and you have the newer version or if you have the older version all you have to do is update the mod

Do you know if there’s a way to specifically locate the missing or un updated mod for the server or would I just have to check them one by one?
@@WaketheSheeple if you are loading into a server that already has the mods updated you can look what PBO error it is which usually has the name of the mod. Another solution is by using dzsa and going into setting and clicking 'verify all workshop items' this goes through your mod list and checks them all for updates

@@rupture8907 thank you, my first time doing any modding of any type ever, I got into Anarchy’s server Hero’s Haven and everything ran fine for about 2 hours then I randomly got kicked and when I tried to rejoin it gave me the Warning error with a bunch of numbers.
I don’t recall it specifically telling me what mod it was mainly stating that the mod in question wasn’t supposed to be there, even though just a few hours previously I had DL’d associated mods necessary for Hero’s Haven.
Just odd that everything would run fine and then a random issue with a mod that either wasn’t up to date or not supposed to be there at all.
The discord for Errors is a great idea tho and I’d be happy to help with any info that might help others in this situation.
Is there any way to find the specific missing/ un-updated Mod to unsubscribe and resubscribe ?
I’m getting “Warning 0x00040074”
And it just states all the Mods associated with the server I’m attempting to join.
Or should I just go one by one and check them all?

@@JR-qt2mr normally the solution has ended up being either just unsubscribing from all Mods then resubbing and letting them download.
The game has been acting odd though imo for the past week.
I couldn’t get into even official servers but I was able to get into this one Modded Server I play on.
Also at times I’ve had luck with just unsubscribing from one particular mod then resubbing to it and it’s worked so it’s tough. Sometimes the shit literally works itself out after a server reset...
This game is great but boy does it have odd bugs

Launcher does not support NTFS so do not use this launcher if host is not saved on local drive

thats a steam issue, re install steam. usually it will be refusing to update the game version or mod.

Dayz is fucking stupid.. devs take our cash and the community fixes the game to make it playable. This pbo thing is a joke, I didn't change shit and it errors out.
