Fly fishing for pike in Swedish Lapland

Already in 1847 the Russian author Sergey Timofeyevich Aksakov wrote in his book Notes on Fishing that: “The greediness of pike knows no bounds”. And of course, all this still rings true. For a pike to be big it should be a meter, or more.
Jonathan Åhström has been a fly fisher for all his life but ironically it was a trip to the mountains in Swedish Lapland, that turn him away from trout and grayling on a dry fly, and he discovered his true passion - big pikes of the north. This is a glimpse into his everyday life, fishing for pike in the north of Sweden.
