I'm currently a believer of Jesus Christ but I also struggle with the points you talked about like the lack of evidence of a flood that is written to have taken place thousands of years ago. Also the written things there about women kind of irritates me. Both in the Old and in the New Testament. Thankfully I had the opportunity to ask the things I didn't understand to a very knowledgeable Christian friend of mine and at first his answers made sense but now thinking, it only makes sense if you are a man. I pray that my faith would be stronger but it diminishes day by day... I used to be a muslim, then an agnostic, later a cultural Tengrist now a Christian who struggles with keeping their faith. There was a moment where I felt Jesus was really there and he healed me (Long story but to make it short, my eye and tooth was aching for an hour then I said while crying "Jesus, God please if you are there heal me" and right after that BOTH my tooth and eye pain had gone at the same time, I was so happy then I learned tooth and eye are connected to each other through nerves so the fact that the pain was gone at the same time can be explained by science) but now I don't feel his presence in my life... I don't know what's going to happen now but I feel like eventually, I'll turn back being an agnostic.
Its hard, but dont give up. Also science is important aswell as historic evidence that some things truly happened. But what matters most is your faith in him, Christianity is about being a blind follower who maybe has not seen Jesus in Person or Had miracles happen in front of their eyes but rather those who trust Christ at all the time when He is present or you feel that He is not. Remember that its a lie that your own head tells you because He is always present, when you do not feel him close it is because you choose to distance yourself from Him. You Cant be a christian If you have no faith in hard times and also deny the Bible. God Bless you
I recommend *Daily Dose Of Wisdom* and *Cold-Case Christianity* to you. Both are former atheists and I feel like their material could help you see that God is very real, the one true living God of the Bible. And if you're a former Muslim there's also another former atheist I came across very recently that you may also be interested in, *Here I am Lord send me.* I've watched a couple of his videos dealing with Muslims and he seems to be pretty good in proving them wrong. In one of his videos he also showed the evidence of the aftermath of the biblical account of Sodom and Gomorrah. There is evidence to support the Bible. You just have to look for it. As for the stuff about women in the Bible that seems to be bothering you, I would say be careful not to allow the ways of the world to dictate what you think the Bible should or shouldn't say. I think maybe you're focusing too much on a few verses that don't quite seem to align with the secular notions of perfect "equality" and "feminism," and that's causing you to think the Bible is misogynistic. But the Bible has plenty of positive things to say about women. It's not that women are less valuable than men. It's that both simply have different roles to play. Both have different strengths and weaknesses. God bless. ✝️

True faith does not require evidence, that is why it is called faith. Without faith, people desperately search for evidence of events in human history, but they will never find solid evidence. This too is just one person's opinion, which has no value in the grand scheme of things. There are millions of different opinions, who decides which one is the truth?
Well you just answered your own question. That’s literally why the search for evidence is necessary. Whatever has the most evidence is the most likely to be true
@@cowboyhoyt1554 Not only is that kind of messed up, it’s also less efficient than simply presenting the evidence while everyone is alive and well on this world.

But where i break down is on whether it is actually true. Given that the bible is inconsistent with physics, biology, paleontology, geology, astronomy, anthropology, genetics, physiology, and chemistry, it’s easy enough to conclude it is not. And given the bible’s high regard for sacrifice and other primitive moral short-sights that is probably a good thing.

Or the Watchtower Society would point to their growth numbers as proof - the more publishers, the "truer" the religion, apparently. Well, there are many Christian denominations that are way larger than the WTS. And what about muslims, or hindus? Their numbers run in the billions or hundreds of millions. But with their JW tunnel vision, the faithful believers never think of that.
