I love that you show the losers. I learn just as much from those as the winners. Everyone says it is important to be a good loser, but you never get to see what that means in practice.

Hello! Love the vid :). Would it be possible to add a clock or way to keep track of time? For me it helps see how patient you have to be in these stakes haha
Nice vlog. I will keep following. Your game runs more like a 5/10 then a 2/5 because if the straddle. Also players seem a lot more fishy than my usual 2/5 opponents. As I said I have 2-3 pro, 3-4 nitty/weak reg, 3 fishes. Also with no straddle I think winrate goes much lower. That is why I was not sure of the 20bb/hour target. But now I think you will.achiwve it. Good luck!
37:17 Isn't it wrong? Like, If you target Ax of diamonds to get called that makes no sense. If villan is holding Ax of diamonds that means he is blocking large portion of your bluffs that you could have on the turn like flush draw for semi bluff so your range is more value heavy
Your thought process and analysis is on point! Question about the A2s of hearts hand. Why not jam the turn before a scare card would kill all actions by the river? I think after calling the flop checkraise he seems pretty committed already and the fact that he folded river means he doesnt have a king of heart. get value from potential flopped flushes that are weaker or sets by turn.
thought the turn spr was too big and thought he may fold some two pair, although sets / flushes not folding. my mistake was not xr bigger on flop to reduce turn spr so i could play a 2 street game. good question!
The aggressive play style seems like an absolute winner. I have been crushing online/pub poker. Got a bankroll to take a shot at 1/2 casino. Would you recommend the 3 bet or fold strategy there too?
I believe the player pool at this stake do not have a high frequency or capability to triple bluff or even double barrel. That’s why there are lots of “let you off the hook/expose their hand strength” type of betting in order to charge made hands/draw, as this player pool has high frequency of calling those kind of hands when facing raises or lead in later streets. Most of the rec players would shut down regs/pros’ double barrel or triple barrel bluff candidates when facing resistance. Just my understanding. Love the content and ideal of being exploited rather than chasing balance/GTO in cash game low stakes.
Marc, $100 per hour @ 5/5 in LA is going to be tough for even the best players in the long run. The rake is way too much for that game + jackpot fee. It increased over the years. But def, if anyone were to do it, it's you. I can def see it happen in just 200-400 hours of play. I was an online reg from 2004-2008, and became a live reg at hustler from 2010-2019. At one point, rake was at most $5.
It’s high but I think it’s doable at a $1500 max buy in. I make $65/hr at 1/2 400 max and the occasional 2/5 800 max game when it runs and the rake is $5 in both. I don’t claim to be nearly as much of a crusher as this guy either. He and I have very different styles lol.
These nit "pro" regs seem worse than pre pandemic at 5/5 as far as sportsmanship and entertaining recs. And they aren't any better than 6 years ago at poker either.
Great video as always. One question, how come you opened J10o from +1? Did you have a read that the table was super loose so you widened (linearly) your opening ranges?
First hand: in my experience, when opponents lead on the turn here, I don't think they are very strong. I have the feeling he is doing that with a medium hand like KQ or weaker Ax and try to avoid being bluffed. One more thing, I think it is a really good idea to put in all hands into the vlog, also the smaller ones. Smaller pots are often more important than this big hands because iso raise and cbets spots are more common and have more influence on your win rate than some bigger river decisions
your experience is misleading you. 1) this is a 3bp 2) he led on the turn LARGE 3) we have taken nothing but aggressive actions so far you're conflating the fact that donks are weak, without considering 3 other huge external factors. expected to see AQ+ here, and was shown exactly AQ.
@@hungryhorsepoker interesting, you didn't mention in the vlog, that he has AQ. But yeah, when he leads big, he might be quite strong and my assumption was wrong.
