Those loafers gained many more years life, structurally and astheticaly they are far better. The welt and stitching are so time consuming but very interesting to see. Class job Steve.
Steve, you may or may not be aware that these leather soles, especially thin ones like the old Florsheim Dukes, with the cuban heel - a really good acoustic guitarist that taps his foot audibly just gets the coolest sound. No other shoe sounds as cool as that when tapping the foot and playing some lively blues. Yes, and another epic creation. Leather soled shoes rock!
I had a favorite pair of shoes repaired at Bedos. They aren’t a top end shoe, but I love them and they aren’t made any longer. Steve made them look almost new again!
When you said you were sewing them with blue thread, I said to myself, “he’s gonna do blue soles,” and yup, you did. Those are beauts! I love all your details and aesthetics. You da man! 👍👞👞
hello friend how are you, this is Jude from India and im not a cobbler but i love watching your work, im a lover of leather loafers shoes, keep up the good work buddy, take care
Well, Mr. Bedo. I've gotta say the finished renovation is waaaay better than I could imagine: just perfect. Thank You for sharing your skill and design sense. You made my day. North Carolina, USA.
I need some black alden penny loafers in my life. I feel like if you had to pick 1 alden pair, that’s like the one you can’t go wrong with if it were gonna be your only pair
This is going to sound odd, but when I have a migraine, watching your videos and listening to you talk really helps. Don't know why, but I will take the relief.
BOOTIFUL!!! I can only imagine what the rest turned out like ;-) I bet the owner was STUNNED!... Love the strap right over, I always think that is how they SHOULD be made, it gives the shoe much more of a flow and the strap takes the strain ... BRILLIANT!>>> Let`s Continue! haha
I have the same Aldens and just had Alden redo them. One thing I dislike is that they are too wide. I love them other than being stretched out. Beautiful job on the stitching.
Steve, great job again. That blue stitching looks incredible. Keep the jokes coming, I don't care if they're "old" or "dad jokes", you always make me crack a smile and laugh out loud :) and the mustache is looking great
Every time you take on another project, I continue to be amazed by your work!!! Those soles are killer! The black shell with blue stitches is the bomb!!! Great job, Steve!
Ok Steve I have my story for you. As I was watching your video in my man cave, I cranked up the sound so I can hear the jokes and information on what your doing. Well my wife yelled from the other room, "What the heck are you doing in there". Well you know what I yelled back, "IT'S HAMMER TIME" and I'm learning how to fix shoes. So she yelled back, "Good, I got two pair of shoes you can fix". :-) Now I may be taking a road trip up from Richmond to drop off her two pair of shoe's to be fixed. True story, happened today. Love yourshow and fine work you do. Be well, be safe, peace. George from Richmond VA
After a stressful day at work always great when there's a new video from you. I wonder how many were like me and just a little disappointed when you said you'd only be videoing the repair of one pair. Still a great video, great craftsmanship stunning result.
That shoe looks brand new! I love seeing the fix/restore/repair videos of items vs. our current just throw it away and buy something new society. In many cases, original things made decades ago were better made and of higher quality then there "new" replacements sold today.
I imagined you handing that gleaming shoe to me and how that gleam caught my eyes! Actually very exciting! I also thought about how these loafers remind me of knights armour; sometimes shiny sometimes not. Let's continue!
You are more my hero than ever! Saddle Stitching with two needles. Yay!! Yes! Ok. Calmer now. What is the difference between Bick 4 and Venetian cream? When are they used. I have Bick 4. But I do not do shoes. Small leather pieces.
Think I watched all your videos by now and I still laughed at the Jerk with the Needle joke ;) Didn't think the new band would work out when you were putting it up but the end result is amazing as usual.
Always a genuine pleasure to see another upload. Was skeptical at first, but the blue thread looks baller! I also wake up before the birds (3:15am now), but prob won't *get* up until an hour later.😄
Steve, first let me say they turned out absolutely fabulous! I would also add I wouldn’t worry about the strap being a little shinier as it is kinda of an accent point if you will. Anyway just my thoughts. As always really a tremendous job. Oh I also wanted to add , who cares if people don’t like your sense of humor, to me it is just an expression of how much you love what you do, if we all can find happiness like that in our jobs. Keep up the great work. Rick
Steve, it is hard to tell for sure over electronic devices, but the tape you used for reinforcement looks like what sewists use, called twill tape. Thanks for great videos and your hard work. I know what it is like to destruct and reconstruct. I do that with suits for my LP son in law.
Hey Steve , is your little horsey voice named mr. Ed ??? ha ha, also Steve love your hair cut and Beard and mustache looks extra nice , love you lots like family and may God bless you always and forever and always keep you extra safe and healthy these days hope to hear back from you soon thanks
Hey man... that poor apron needs some Bick4 lovin' !! LOL (Still) Nice rebuild on those, not sure I'd be sold on that full length strap though. That's gonna be a stout bill dropping that much rebuild to be done on five pairs. Lookin' good with that blue thread too.
Shoe looks super nice. I like laced shoes but this one changed my mind little bit. I even liked ur knife the one u used in the start of the video. I used ur style to trigger one of my friend today. Her reaction was priceless.

Well, Mr. Bedo. I've gotta say the finished renovation is waaaay better than I could imagine: just perfect. Thank You for sharing your skill and design sense. You made my day. North Carolina, USA.
I love watching your videos. You are a true craftsman, and if I had very expensive shoes I would pay you to repair them.
Blue stitching is brilliant
Thx for project Steve 👍👍and your time and the vlog ✌️see you next time 👍
That shoe looks beautiful. I wish we could have seen the customer reaction. I loved the blue you did on the sole. Another quality job.

Doing Shoe repair full-time looks like Carpal tunnel...You do awesome work sir👍
Been watching your jobs since idk 2 or 3 years. I don't get tired of watching them and the final result's.
After a stressful day at work always great when there's a new video from you. I wonder how many were like me and just a little disappointed when you said you'd only be videoing the repair of one pair. Still a great video, great craftsmanship stunning result.

Beautiful I hope you show us the rest after they are done
Made little footnotes....I love watching your videos!
I imagined you handing that gleaming shoe to me and how that gleam caught my eyes! Actually very exciting! I also thought about how these loafers remind me of knights armour; sometimes shiny sometimes not. Let's continue!

Great job once again.
Wow awesome work Steve!!
I suppose the broguing on the sole of the shoe is like pinstripes on a car, another fantastic show thanks man
I love your videos, and I even go back and rewatch the old ones. Steve is a Master Craftsman, and he’s a cutie 🥰 too
Great job Steve!
I'm still amazed at the level of detail you get with iphones these days. Nice work, Steve. Have a good weekend.
Blue stitching is a classy touch.
Another beautiful full redo turned into a brand new pair again!! TYFS
Man, I love the sound of that sewing machine 😍
Oh yeah! It’s the standard by which everything else is judged. Like if a gun shoots reliably, we say, “it runs like a sewing machine!”🤣
Brilliant job,well done.
I love watching your channel. The audiance voice is great. Keep up the great work
Love the sense of humor
Always Fantastic Work!!
Great job again I wish that we have a shoemaker like you in the netherlands
I love the blue thread on black.
Beautiful work !!
You are more my hero than ever! Saddle Stitching with two needles. Yay!! Yes! Ok. Calmer now. What is the difference between Bick 4 and Venetian cream? When are they used. I have Bick 4. But I do not do shoes. Small leather pieces.

Think I watched all your videos by now and I still laughed at the Jerk with the Needle joke ;)
Didn't think the new band would work out when you were putting it up but the end result is amazing as usual.
Very labor intensive! Great job, Steve!!!
I didn't want this to end. Totally enjoyed it! Love your work Steve.

Tedious but honest work! I love this. Nice watch too!
"They're in GOOD HANDS now", sure is right Steveroo...!... GG
Amazing, his work is art to me.
I basicly come here for the cobbler asmr, dad jokes, and most of all, hear your "complainy people voice" xD It's the best entertainement!
That’ll be Barney complaining!
Awesome job Steve, a true craftsman who goes the extra mile to do a truly amazing rework, best wishes from Lockdown Reading England 🏴 xx❤️❤️

Great job.....beautiful shoe!
I am sitting is Shams restaurant in Anjar right now!!
OMG ARE YOU SERIOUS????
I grew up in Anjar in the summer times, still have family there
Yes. I went to Shams twice already. The currency collapsed. I bought takeout 4 pounds of the best cooked fish for $20!
A lot of great work there Steve a nice repair/upgrade came out really nice the customer will be very happy 👍
Very nice work!
I love the details you give when you’re working, but could I ask the question what thickness of leather is used in making the foot bed that shoe?
Hey Steve , is your little horsey voice named mr. Ed ??? ha ha, also Steve love your hair cut and Beard and mustache looks extra nice , love you lots like family and may God bless you always and forever and always keep you extra safe and healthy these days hope to hear back from you soon thanks
Hey Steve, always glad to see u and ur show. Sure enjoyed this. Hope u and ur family and doing well. Stay healthy. Bless u and ur family…
I love the attention to detail! Amazing job!
Your "angry commenter" voice is classic. It should be used for a character on the Simpson's.
In an earlier video Steve explains that it’s based on Barney Gumble from the Simpsons.
ruclips.net/video/wZnF67fCo6g/видео.html
Well there you go! I had no idea he made that reference before. Thanks for pointing that out. (LMAO at that clip).
I was just Jonsing for a Bebo project! 👍🏾
Absolutely beautiful. Another great job. God Bless Steve
So impressive!!!!
At first I thought the blue thread with the black leather was weird, but it looked really stylish when you finished with it. Great job!
*I wish I could send my Loake shoes to you from Stockholm, Sweden*
Great job, love your sense of humor!
