Whether you hate him or love him, Andrew stepped up big time during a time of need and filled in during a time where it would have been so easy for DGD to take hiatus or breakup with everything that happened in 2022. I've never been a fan of Dance Gavin Dance, but in my opinion, I think they sound pretty damn good here. Better than they did on tours before this. The lower key was a great idea not only for Andrew's sake but for Marc as well, he plays in a band that's music has always been pretty damn heavy, and I think it was just a logical choice.

AW is perfectly in between Jonny and Tilian. He can hit T’s airy/nasally notes, but adds the fuller tone that Jonny had. Maybe he won’t have the same grit and soul that Jonny did, but it’s close enough to kill it
Andrew Wells is so fucking good . He needs to be the main vocalist. I’m one of the few that likes that DGD has had so many vocalists it’s a good change tbh .
Tuning this song down (to accompany this vocalist's range) really zapped the life out of it. It made you feel something when Jonny sang these songs in the tuning they were meant to be in. Kinda like the chills.
I hear ya, but they simply wouldn’t have been able to perform the song had that they not adjusted the key for Andrew. it’s just too damn high. Andrew still did a great job at the end of the day even though this version doesn’t hit as hard as the original. not to mention it was merely a temporary solution as we all know Tillian is back in the lineup. major credit to the band for doing what they do best by adapting to any curveball thrown their way and making it work for the fans 🤷🏻♂️

He is a very good vocalist but doesn’t fit the style of DGD really. He feels and sounds foreign and not really like DGD. His sound is too „progressive rock“, not Post-Hardcore or Emo. What vocalists for DGD should sound like. He is very, very good but is missing the vibe and feeling. I‘m not feeling it here at all.
