I’m looking to swap my plants to pon in spring and your channel has been the best information resource for me to educate myself on its logistics. Thank you so much for these videos!
Hi, I have a question about fertilizing. I use the cache pot method, would I just add fertilizer to the water that sits at the bottom and then leave it there or should I let it sit for some time and then change the water for a clear one? Also, how often would you recommend flushing? Hope that makes sense. Thanks for your video!
How do you recommend flushing for bigger plants? I have 2 big plants snake plant and Dracena in lechuza pon and it’s so heavy I can’t pick it up easily needs 2 people lol 😂
I always thought that what if I don't flush ever but giving plant plain water once twice a month to give a chance to use that built up minerals as fertilizers? I think same thing for leca too.. I haven't tried it long term but.. Why wouldn't it work?
I just started using pon like a month ago and so far my plants are doing great. Didn’t realize i had to flush it like i do with leca but i guess it makes sense. Thanks for the tips about fertilizing.
Hey Julia, I used to lower the pH but since I'm using a fertilizer that keep the pH neutral I don't think I have to do that anymore (not 100% sure tho but that's what I've heard).
Hi, I am confused about whether you need a water reservoir like leca when the planter has a wick? Do you need to keep the water 1/3 the height of the planter height
Do you know of a fertiziler with the same one-step technology as Liquid Gold Leaf that's available for people in the US? There isn't anywhere to buy LGL that will ship it here. 😭😭

I’m using LECA at the moment, but definitely going to try the pon after watching you. You explain it all so well. Thank you 😊

What are your thoughts on putting a time release fertilizer in a homemade pon mix?
I'm in Canada. Can you recommend a fertilizer I should use for my plants that are in Pon?

Hey :) can you please tell me that from where do you got that plant stand? I like it very much! Thanks.
I just use pon with regular nursery pots with drainage holes so I flush using shower method when watering. Do I just fertilise after flushing?
Ok you made an video of flushing to, I just saw this, thanx 🙈😁
Is the flushing also required if you use mainly rainwater with dilluted fertilizer?
Id say yes because not completely "pure" & also the fertilizer would build up. That's just my opinion 🤪💜
I just started tu use PON for my newly adopted Alocasia cuprea and i'm learning a lot from your videos ! thanks for you content :)
Good to hear, Alocasias absolutely LOVE to grow in Pon, don’t you agree? 🙏🏼

What do you consider a "weak" ratio of LGL:water?
Can I put in slow release fertilizer once the ones in pon has gone:)?

Hey Raf,
Happy to hear that it makes sense haha! Thanks for you reaction!
Like it!😄 Do you use any pH equipment? Like to lower your pH?
Hey Julia,

I have DIY pon mix w/o fertilizer. what nutrients i need to add on the water for pon mix?
Hi! Very helpful info! So plants grow water roots in pon just like if they are in leca then...?
I asked a soil scientist about this, and she said that the plant grows soil roots, and can later be transferred to pure soil without problem
Hi, i have no idea which fertilizer should i use for my PON lants , please help me , tell me which fertilizer I should get for them , thank you

What country are you from.... thanks for the info....
You're very welcome. I'm from the Netherlands
Do you need reservoir for pons? I have a fiddle leaf just transferred from leca to pons, because it's not doing well in leca - bc it's too wet.
Hey Taylor, you should watch my previous videos I cover all these topics!
Can I use fish emulsion fertilizer for Lechuza Pon?
So would you flush when it's time to water then?
That’s right and then remove the water from the reservoir!
👍👍👍👍
BUMMER!!!😭😭😭 Can't find anywhere in USA to buy the Gold Leaf. Just UK & Canada! ☹💜

Hey there. I honestly don't know. Are they still not shipping to the US?
How often should I flush??
How am I going to flush my plants planted on glass containers without drainage holes?
You can just put water in the whole container and after that put your hand on top? Don’t know how big the container is 🤣
Would you use a Lechuza substitute??
