thanks for the info! a doubt? I want to buy one and I don't know which one! If the asus rog strix x570-e gaming wifi ii or is the Crosshair VIII HERO wifi, which one would you recommend?
go with the Hero VIII Wifi or Dark Hero VIII (better rails 90A vs 60A on the Hero VIII Wi-Fi). The strix x570-e gaming wifi II has a 12+4 power stage while both the crosshairs have 14+2 ones. Also seems the audio part of the boards is shielded on the Crosshairs while the feature is not present on the Strix one
is compatible? with asus dual rtx3070 8g
Does this board have power to the front USB ports for charging devices with the computer shutdown?
I've never OC'd anything. Never felt the need.

How can i connect it to monitor? It doesn’t have display port or hdmi?
Unless u have a integrated graphic cpu u connect it to the gpu

This board is not supported properly for the price it is at. It has sound driver issues and the bios has been updated from the start on a monthly basis - still not proper.
I bought the Lian Li O11 dynamic XL case and found out I'd have a compatibility issue with the crosshair hero motherboard cause there isn't enough connectors on that board and the USB type C at the front of the case will be unusable, is there anyway around this?
Not enough connectors? What do you mean? I have a lian li 011 dynamic XL and am looking to get this motherboard.
@@turbografx-1641 Lian Li O11D XL-Case has a front panel USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A port, but the Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Hero ATX AM4 Motherboard does not have sufficient USB 3.2 Gen 1 headers. The case USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A port will not be usable
@@blackstars3720 You can buy a PCI addin card that has an extra USB 3.0 header built on. I had the same issue with my Corsair 1000D case, the front has 4 USB 3 ports but the board only has the one header. Installed one of those addin cards and was no problem at all.

I surf ur channel a little bit and I saw that either ur channel is sponcered by Asus or ur are a Asus fan boy
So how was the noise level of the chipset fan? Can You hear it in idle? I plan on upgrading my PC once AMD's new CPU's are out, but rumor sais there won't be a x670 chipset out this year? Maybe I should just go with a cheap B550 board until they come out and swap it out?
It´s not audiable really when in a case with other system parts. May annoy people who have passive cooling or are using 5v fans. B550 boards are great though, id go for B550 actually cause I never overclock anyway and B550 boards have everything I need.
@@TheTanelChannel Yeah been considering that, I am only using 140mm Noctua fans and a Noctua NH-D15s CPU cooler, so it's basicly dead silent in idle. And when gaming I can hear a gentle breeze. Hoping to be able to mimick that when replacing motherboard and CPU and of course a STRIX 3080. We'll see how it goes though ;)
no you cannot hear the chipset fan, mine always runs at about 1600-1670rpm, no matter the conditions if left to default profile

@Captain Falcon thanks man, yeah I was looking on pcparkpicker.com listing out all my specs and the site said there would be an issue but good to know that's not true. Thanks. I still haven't started my build cause right now things expensive with boarder closures, I appreciate all the feed back though 🙏

no, but you could likely set a profile to make it stop if you wanted too, but why ?
