It would be nice if the loom came with clearer instructions, like how many pegs to use if you want your blanket to be a certain size. Also the box it comes in could be better the bottoms of all that were on the shelf were open at the bottom. Amazing product though, great value and well made.
You can use common sense math. If 198 pegs makes a 60 inch blanket then 99 pegs will make a 30 inch blanket. It also tells you 3.5 stitches / inch or 4 stitches in the knit stitch. If you can't do basic math please do the world a favor and go back to grade school. I swear common sense no longer exists in this country.

I really would love to see how to do just the basic cast off because the instructions that came with the loom are very ambiguous !

I am trying to find how to make shawls on a Infinity loom with 138 pegs do you have any videos or any suggestions. Can I use circle looms or rectangle looms to make Shawls?
So the pattern on your website says to cast on 184 pegs yet the video casts on all pegs. The pattern repeat doesn't add up either. Under 184 pegs I end up with 8 unused stitches. Under all 193 pegs I end up with 1 peg without a stitch. Am I missing something? Is it okay for the pattern repeat to not use all pegs or have left over stitches? Thanks.

Can someone explain to me how the loom in general and do so very slowly (I knit using DPNs, circular needless and straight needles) so I won't lie, this whole loom idea makes no sense at all to me and I wanna learn how to do this since my dad got me one for Christmas and I'd love to make him a blanket but I'm slightly afraid of it lol..... She went from the beginning to the end lol where was the entire middle part?! :/

it depends on how large you want it.. all 196 pegs is 60 inches wide.. how long do you want it... how tight are your stitches.. are you doubling ..its a lot of variables.
Dayna Premo its much easier if you use a pen barrel or Boye now makes a loom tool you can use for wrapping. I had the same problem until I started using this method for wrapping.
Believe me, it's so easy and fast!!!! I am in the middle of making my first scarf. I started yesterday, afternoon and I am almost finished. If I had tried to knit with needles, I wouldn't have completed it until next year.
It would be even nicer if you hadn't wrapped 1 stupid peg and then started flying through a jet on fire and having your hand on top of the peg didn't help either so we couldn't see what you were doing.
Hi Becky, This was just a introduction to the loom video, not menat to be a how-to. We will be coming out with a how-to in the next couple months. But I think other knitters have created some how-to content on you tube, that might be really helpful in the meantime.

I could never figure out how to knit the curves, so I went with a CinDwood oval afghan loom. Best decision I've ever made, giving away this loom.
They say to go on the outside not the inside I use a hard plastic straw it makes it really easy to use

You can use a worsted weight to a bulky yarn depending on the stitch.

Try using an empty pen barrel as a yarn guide to equalize your tension.

You are not connecting the first and last peg yarns. It shows this in the video. Without connecting them, you have one long panel instead of a tube.
