Well I remember that time when that fan jumped Stone Cold, and HHH and the referee were beating the fan's ass, Austin said later on that the reason he didn't help beat the guy's ass was because he had to stay in character as baby face.
My grandmother who was a crazy polock, example her brother, my great uncle (Frank Roscus) was executed in the electric chair in the late 50's early 60's here in NJ. She had a big heart, but was bat shit crazy. She started a riot at a wrestling show in Newark NJ in the 50's? Not exactly sure of the year. A match went the distance and she got up and was screaming according to her watch there was another minute and she threw her chair and the place went out of control. These riots were no joke. People back then took wrestling as REAL. She even had the article framed from the star ledger newspaper hanging on the wall from the riot, it was front page the next day. She told me when I asked about the article framed on the wall, I did that with a big smile, seriously i mean her face lit up she was so proud and then proceeded to tell me the story.
In 95' went to a WWF show in Québec City, main event was Diesel Vs King Kong Bundy. After the match, 4 drunk guys jumped in the ring, 8 Cops followed then seconds later, this was the best match of the show tbh. Cops won the beatdown with Pepper spray and baton.
I use to watch Price Is Right all the time and remember seeing that when it aired. I was a huge wrestling fan however I never heard of Ox Baker at the time and remember thinking the guy is probably just wrestling in gyms in front of 10 people calling himself a pro wrestler lol

In today's environment where there is no revenue stream from ticket sales from a live audience, it would be financial suicide unless you have the financial runway to weather the storm until we get back to a semblance of normalcy. Cornette is doing much better financially now, essentially working from home than he did running SMW. Additionally; he doesn't have the ridiculous hours and constant stress of keeping a wrestling promotion afloat on a shoestring budget.

The last couple months I've noticed alot of "first" and generic comments. Jim is bringing in casuals, recently. That's good. I've seen maybe a few "first" comments on all of his videos and the last two months there has been dozens. Keep bringing em in.... If the people who are wondering what I mean.... There are channels that have a steady fan base. Nothing to do with wrestling. Say Screen Rant and Ryan George where everyone will either comment his catch phrases and puns. Or Music channels. Or go on AEW BTE or Dynamite or WWE videos or whatever. There's always inside jokes and puns and such. When you start getting a bunch of "first" messages. You know you are bringing in new people. Because they don't know the lingo or terms to make a quick first comment, only "first". It's fascinating really. I noticed this has been happening on the Corney channel since AEW n Impact started their thing... Edit: there's now four on this video Look at all of Corneys videos for the past couple years. You will find a total dozen "firsts" messages on 100 videos ... He is breaking the mainstream. To check what I'm speaking of, go to all old videos. Go down to the most downvoted comments... There's barely a "first" to be found aside one or two. But now the past two months each video gets several. Lol.

Jim there's no need in stretching a question from someone and turn it into, "well it's a foreign concept to people these days who can't believe wrestling was real in those days".
