Thank you so much I really really enjoyed watching you at the Harrogate craft show. There were some amazingly beautiful things there, and you’d need to be seriously wealthy to have a lot of fun there!!!!!!! But I’ve subscribed and given you a thumbs up too. Your bouquet is going to be incredible and very expensive too. But, I’m looking forward to seeing that too.
I was at Harrogate on the Saturday and it was soo busy. I met my auntie at one point and she disappeared in the crowd and I never saw her for the rest of the show lol. I got some of the sparkly sock yarn from Yarn Unique and a cross stitch kit. I described it as 5% knitting show and 95% stitching show 😂 loved the video, the quest for the red sparkly yarn continues!
I was at the knitting and stitching show when it came to Belfast, Northern Ireland a couple of weeks ago. I was expecting more yarn too. We had just a couple of local yarn sellers. I think Harrogate is bigger. Some of the bigger craft/fabric sellers look the same -loads of sewing machine companies.
What a great video. I was at Harrogate on Saturday but was time limited due to my disability. It’s great to see the stalls I missed, I’ve now ticked them off in my show guide. I’m a BSW addict as well, I just love a visit to the craft barn. Looking forward to your future videos.
Just found you today in a search for advent calendar's and Baah Yarn. You speak in the video about learning to read patterns. 2 years ago I didn't know how to read patterns. How I taught myself was pulling up youtube videos and writing out the pattern as a tutuiral was being done. Also, if you take a pattern you have and write it out, writing out all the abrievated insturctions, that helps a lot. Half the problem in reading a pattern is remembering what every abrievated insturction means. It took me months to figure out SC, DC, DCtog... what all of those mean. (SC-Single Crochet, DC- Double Crochet, DCtog- Double Crochet 2 together) (Sorry about the miss spellings, I'm horrible at spelling)
I went to the knitting and stitching show in London in October and there was a lot more yarn booths there…. I purchased a few skeins of sparkly yarn from Debonnaire yarns there! You’ll have to try out east Anglian yarn festival! It’s on the 15th & 16th March next year, you have to apply for a podcast lanyard to be able to vlog/film… I went earlier this year and had a great time 😄
I went to the Knitting and Stitching Show 2024 in London. I did really enjoy it. However, too many stalls with materials and sewing machines for me. A fair amount of yarn but would have loved more and hardly any cross stitch which was really disappointing. I suppose it is difficult to please everybody...
I went to the Stitching & Knitting show at Ally Pally this year for the first time and thought it was absolute pants for yarn. There was hardly any yarn stalls, mainly sewing. I won't be going again and it's put me off going to events. I do love watching your videos though and I'm hopefully going to Istanbul next year after seeing your vlog on that.
hey id like to know whos booth refused you to film it so i can avoid them forever. i hate folk like that. just from a legal point of view you do not need permission to film them, they could try their best to sue you in a civil court (and fail miserably ) if they thought that you caused them some sort of loss of profit because you stole their intellectual property by filming however as this is in a public space THERE IS NO EXPECTATION OF PRIVACY. i want to see their poop stall.
Thank you. For the look at the show . I have seen that show also.
Stumbled upon this FUN clip! Yes, I subscribed & Am A New fan of urs from Va! ❤️ur accent & personality! Of course showing us this show!

Love your content. You make me giggle so much
Hello from the United States (Iowa). Thank you for sharing, what a wonderful show.
Just subscribed. Love the cardigan you are wearing. Loved the wool show too. Any video for that cardigan or a pattern available?
The video I made for the Tinkerbell cardigan is linked in the description ❤️
Lots of things to look at. Good thing because I only understand about 1/4 of what you’re saying. Looks like a neat place to find interesting yarns.

I live in Harrogate and have heard it said that they don’t have much yarn there ! Which is a shame as it’s called the knitting and stitching show !

What in the world does "booshey" mean
It means 'posh' or 'expensive'
It's "bougie" derived from bourgeoisie. Millenial slang for fancy or expensive.
