I get what you’re saying about new shows but you don’t need Cartoon Network to make a new cartoon show especially if it’s going to be on a streaming service. I think because of that reboots and spin offs make the most sense.
“Where’s all the new stuff?” Animation studios can’t afford to gamble on new IP that might not sell. That’s why the newer, more original shows are indie.
No they can gamble cut companies are risk averse. All companies. Disney redoing the movies, hasbro is just doing transformers. Star wars, Star trek. Ect ect ect.
@@thomaskrogh1244 Those companies, especially Disney, are only doing that because they have to if they want to survive. When these companies have become financially stable, then they experiment with new ideas without having to fear major losses. But for now, they're playing it safe--hence, not many new shows.

All remaining animators need to resign in protest and work with all previously recently fired animators, big and small from all over the animation industry, and ask for support from their fans to create their own animation company.
20 years ago CN made a pilot called "Saddle Rash" developed by Loren Bouchard. One of the funniest unaired shorts I've ever seen, more for adults than for the kiddies. H. Jon Benjamin and Sarah Silverman do voice acting. Do yourself a favor and look it up.
Stop blaming everything on Zaslav. He's not responsible for everything that happens at WBD. There are other factors at work here, namely poor vision, poor management and an industry in flux. Yes, changes need to be made at the top, but stop acting like getting rid of one guy is going to magically fix everything. There are A LOT of things within WBD and the animation industry as a whole that need to change and be rethought.
0:04 what about the time Teen Titans GO! dominated the schedule and many CN originals frequently aired in the "bomb" format. I would say that was another dark age.
It's a double edged sword. People aren't watching Cartoon Network because there are no new shows on the channel, but Warner Brothers won't produce new shows for Cartoon Network because they think no one is watching it.

The Nostalgic value alone would be worth it
Welcome To The Darkness Of Nickelodeon
It would be good if MeTV Toons launched another channel to purchase these shorts and generate these shows
I get what you’re saying about new shows but you don’t need Cartoon Network to make a new cartoon show especially if it’s going to be on a streaming service. I think because of that reboots and spin offs make the most sense.
So this is what Hell looks like
Do we exist, just to suffer?☹️
Random question (though kinda related), what kind of cartoons/animated projects do people want to see nowadays (genre/animation style/etc)?
“Where’s all the new stuff?” Animation studios can’t afford to gamble on new IP that might not sell. That’s why the newer, more original shows are indie.
No they can gamble cut companies are risk averse. All companies. Disney redoing the movies, hasbro is just doing transformers. Star wars, Star trek. Ect ect ect.
@@thomaskrogh1244 Those companies, especially Disney, are only doing that because they have to if they want to survive. They can't rely on venture capital anymore, so they have to change to please their customers, who've been turning away due to what these companies have done to those IPs. When these companies have become financially stable, then they experiment with new ideas without having to fear major losses. But for now, they're playing it safe--hence, not many new shows.
@av_8596 they are financially stable they aren't glowing. For public traded companies they need to grow to appease investors.
They been playing it self since 2006-2007. Just ask any of the lead animators or project leads.
i’d love hihi puffy amiyumi to get a reboot. i would love to see an episode where ami gets turned into a mermaid and yumi has to find a way to turn her back it would be incredible
If you want all of this to happen, stop requesting it on social. Call Warner Brothers, call cartoon network or email them not their social. That does nothing. You have to contact THEM directly and not the 20 year old they're underpaying to read all of your comments so THEY don't have to, but if you call or email them directly then they will be forced to listen. No one posted on governors socials when tiktok was getting banned, they got calls!!!
Can we plz talk about the dangers of nelvana shutting down
All remaining animators need to resign in protest and work with all previously recently fired animators, big and small from all over the animation industry, and ask for support from their fans to create their own animation company.
I’d pay anything for a dvd copy of close enough I miss it
Rip cartoon, network we will miss you🕊
We truly are in the darkest timeline 😔
20 years ago CN made a pilot called "Saddle Rash" developed by Loren Bouchard. One of the funniest unaired shorts I've ever seen, more for adults than for the kiddies. H. Jon Benjamin and Sarah Silverman do voice acting. Do yourself a favor and look it up.
They need to bring back their action block.
So good to see a video from you again!
Teen Titans Go killed Cartoon Network.
This whole situation is just a damn shame
As long as David Reality TV Zaslav is still around, nothing will ever change.
Let's hope someone ends his reign once and for all.
**Mr. Turner voice** ZASLAAAV!
Zaslav need to go away and never back
Stop blaming everything on Zaslav.

I want Galactic kids next door
Same. Saw the animatic years ago it looked awesome!
Ah! Louie Zong has a pilot? I didn't know. I want to watch it in that form.
Zazloth my his name be forgotten in the sands of times forever
I believe there will always be light at the end of the tunnel for CN. I will never give up on my favorite network!
Sadly weir never getting old nickelodeon or cartoon network back.
Disney channel too.
WBD is screwing CN
I NEED MORE CARTOONS
Bro we need to see those shorts
0:04 what about the time Teen Titans GO! dominated the schedule and many CN originals frequently aired in the "bomb" format. I would say that was another dark age.
1:30 You mean RUclips animation.
Is cartoon network are being picky ? Because are they even looking for any promising animed shows ?
It's a double edged sword. People aren't watching Cartoon Network because there are no new shows on the channel, but Warner Brothers won't produce new shows for Cartoon Network because they think no one is watching it.
latest CN thing i have seen is people and creators wanting a ben10 revival
The fact people are saying 2009 cartoon network wasn’t that bad is just wild
Does anyone know when more Fairly oddparents a new wish will come out on Netflix?
(I'm only asking because their is only 10 episodes so far and I don't know when there will be the rest of season 1.)
It already came out in Netflix
Missed potential to Add Trick Moon. Or mentioning CN Real
It did get mentioned in the beginning though.
well i dont wanna belive it but we might be cooked everyone if this keeps up in the next few years
Should have pitched them to Adult Swim
Adult Swim is Cartoon Network. They're only listed as separate for advertising purposes.
Glad brought this up wondering when cartoons short
can we just have positive animation news again?
There will be no other great run like the 2010-2016 era.
Damn last time i saw awestruck vox he had the 80s looking cut
