After working on this for a while, I finally posted my take on an OMORI Megalovania!
I've seen a couple, with the most popular (at least that I'm familiar with) is the Omoritale Last Breath Megalos, which the lead is based off of.
But those are more satirical than anything. Which frustrates me, because the potential of an Omori Megalo is off of the charts! I don't even think I really did it justice here! But I wanted to try, and so I threw my hat in the ring with Omori motifs and out came this beauty.
Every motif here (with the exception of the lead) IS directly referenced in an OMORI track, some more obvious then others. The first comment to name every OST reference gets pinned!

@@Far_Dev In OMORI, the most common critical hit you can get is "It hit right in the heart!", so it may be a reference to that.
Also there's the fact that MARI died to neck damage, so SUNNY aiming for OMORI's neck may be a reference to that as well.

@Sunny-s7f i love the idea of Sunny using his Violin Bow as a sword and using the Violin itself either as a Blunt object or to cast spells or effects by playing on it
@@FireForged_Music I always imagined that Sunny is just fencing with violin bow when he is using Allegro because it shows slashing animation so its definitely isnt Sunny just playing few notes on violin or anything

I was expecting your average original Megalo, but this is amazing! It blew me out of the water, wasn't expecting so many leitmotifs and small references like the ringing phone!

Finally an original cover of megalovania, all that covers just use the megalovania rythm, so always is the same thing. But this one is really good.

Best Megalo i heared in a good while. This bring me back a lot of good memories with Omori and makes me want to replay it. If i have to describe what i feel while listening to it is a confrontation with yourself to accept your mistakes. This is really underrated and deserves more attention. Keep up a good work!
Thank you! Every megalovania I've seen on Omori was either Satire or failed to capture the vibe of Omori's Endgame, so I made it My goal to capture that vibe with the Megalovania style. How you described you felt is essentially what I was going for; the battle against yourself and accepting mistakes.

This is absolutely insane, I love how it encapsulates your adventure through headspace as well as shows the polarity of the sunny and omori routes.

I came searching for the ost for my omori series and i found this banger.....
I saw the description and was mostly just curiosity if I could actually name them all so I’ll try
Something sound effect and knife I get the feeling I missed a track… (couldn’t remember it )
I believe the second track to just be a slight twist of megalovania with OMORI sound effects

I don't know if it's meant to be that way or not, but somnivania in Russian means "doubt".
The reason for the name was from the Greek terms that we developed into the terms for stuff like phobias, manias, and philes, in the same way Megalovania was. Megalovania was a slight twist on the word; Megalomania, the obsession with power. The suffix; "Somni-" is the Greek term for Sleep, so Somnimania means "the obsession with Sleep."
