I saw another video of the 6pro and 6proE on a 1gig line. The iPhone tested almost 800 mb/s on the pro and like 400mb/s on the proE. But for a Samsung phone tests were similar on both. Soo weird. Technology is soo annoying. Lol
Could old and new be mixed in one single network and if so will the new ones operate at their said max speed or do they come down to max of slowest on the net?
With only 1 unused Ethernet port after installation, can take that one extra Ethernet port to a splitter and go to Computer and PS5? Would that affect overall performance?
No reason not to. The Pro 6 will be future proofed for quiet awhile as well and it is cheaper. I just wanted to get the top version available so I don't have to upgrade for a long time. The Pro 6E has support for the 160mhz band and can get speeds above 1Gbps. So it's SLIGHTLY better IF you have 6E devices or an internet plan over 1gbps.
@@BenoniTech I don't have a single device that has 6E wifi ... And when i'll have enough devices with it, I think amazon would have produced a better router.
I think people stick with cable because they don't know fiber is an option. Also, a lot of people still watch cable TV so that might play a role as well.
Fiber wasn’t an option in my area until a couple of months ago so that’s a big part of it. But yeah it’s much better. We were paying $130 for 400mbps download and 30mbps upload on cable internet and it would drop off a lot. Now we got a gig upload and download for $39 on fiber and it’s way better
eero 5 is just what I call them to reference 5Ghz. There were eeros before the ones you see in the video but they were just called "eero" and I figured that would be confusing, so I call them "eero 5"
Your test is invalid, there is margin for error with speed testing 5ghz, its not going to be the same every time. The new features that are the only difference with the new eero pro 6e is in Fact the 6e or 6Ghz band. Your Test is just testing 5ghz, and 5ghz is 5ghz lol the same as the "last gen" Sorry and hope I don't sound rude, but you wasted your time testing the same thing you just replaced.
🤣 thats not even close to true. You seem to not be aware of the speed cap on different eeros. The test is about the hardware, not the protocol. The test is valid, your comment is not.
bro I’m genuinely so pissed why do I get so confused on this I really need simple simple simple steps on how to go from 17mbps to how much your getting :((
Thank you for the review! i enjoyed watching this video :3

Will this increase my Internet speed from 13MGPS to 50+ MGPS? I don't have fiber optics in my area, I have a ARRIS nvg443B.
It depends.... Wifi 6e and 6ghz network would increase your speeds and latency. If your device is compatible
Could old and new be mixed in one single network and if so will the new ones operate at their said max speed or do they come down to max of slowest on the net?
they can exist on the same network, but the old ones won't be as fast.

Do that but to a switch
Use unmanaged switch. Works flawlessly.
Is eero 6e faster than the tp link xe75 pro
So if I buy one eero, is it even worth it? It has to sit right next to the router, so am I even getting any better wi-fi coverage?
You need two or more. The one near router is the mesh hub.
Hi, why not upgrade first to the Eero pro 6 (non E) ?

Thanks Mate
Do these support ethernet back haul.
Yes they do and this will help performance
I switched to fiber recently from Vexus and its 100x better than what i had with old coax internet, why people stay with broadband is beyond me

Is 5 the first gen and 6 the second gen?

I wonder why it’s so much more expensive now? It’s showing $399.99 for the 2-pack not $279.99

Do I need a WiFi provider?
My question and i hope someone can answer is 1. Does it make it own internet?
2. Do i already need to have a internet company?
You still need an internet provider, no it doesn't make it's own internet
My wifi reaches 3 houses down from me. 60 down lol
Omg you ping is so high
anything under 50 is considered great. we're not competitive gaming here 🤣
$159.99 today.... 🤔
