Most beautiful song i heard a few weeks ago when Celtic Woman performed in Idaho Falls. New Album "Ancient Land" is marvelous. I listened to this song countless times as i approached and drove through my native South. I don't imagine i'll ever live there again - i'm now a man of the Rocky Mountains - but the South will always be in my blood and my heart.
I think my favorite part of this song is the chance to not only see the performance but the glimpses into the making of said performance and see how much fun everyone seems to be having!!!

I love how vague the lyrics are. It’s about Ireland but it could seriously be patriotic to anywhere. I really mean it. It says that the sun sets, there are stars in the sky at night, people tell stories, the grass is green, there are rivers, and it rains. The only real detail is that there are pipers, which I guess might be slightly more specific than the other things, but still not really.
