I think it’s wonderful that you are letting yourself slow down a bit and take a week off your channel every month. You are such a hard worker and I know you always seek excellence with what you put out. ❤
I always feel like I’m watching a long Marco Polo from you! I definitely feel relaxed and like I’m hanging out with a friend! 🥰 Love anything you put out! I support you!
One of the benefits of being a content creator *should* be setting your own realistic, comfortable, reasonable hours. Awesome update, Natalie! Thanks for all you do to make "this little corner of RUclips" cozy and informative and Christ-centered. 😘
These garden updates are my fav! You inspired me to plant lemon thyme between my raised beds and marigolds around the outside and I’m loving it so much! Thank you for making such inspiring and peaceful content ❤
We will still all be here! Glad you’re focusing on the important parts of life just a bit more and allowing yourself some grace! Amazing mom wife and child of God!
I always tell you this, but there’s something SO calming and peaceful about your videos. I love your voice, your positivity and your relaxed approach to keeping it real! I always feel motivated to be washing dishes or folding laundry as you’re getting stuff done in the video also. I so appreciate you Natalie! Hope you have the best weekend ❤️
I highly respect you for taking off a week and focus on your little sweet family. I LOVE watching you weekly but i totally understand and get it. Thank you for sharing your sweet trip with us. I admire you for all you do and encouragement.
I think that's great idea taking time out and putting yourself first is so energising. I live with chronic illnesses and my mantra is 'self care is not selfish'. We will all be here whenever you post 🔔 😊
I look forward to your videos so much! I try to hold off watching them so that i will always have one whenever i feel i need to add some extra happy, to a hard day . Thanks for what u add to RUclips!!
I always love watching your calming and soothing garden content Nathalie! I hope that your butterfly garden is going to flourish! 🦋 Also loving that you put your mental health first! Take care ❤!
Natalieeee I'm just casually watching while you pull a Kimberly whisk. Loved it. That pasta salad looks amazing but not as amazing as those red woods!!
I miss maybe like 3 of your videos a year and that's only if I am busy that week and dont find the time to go back and watch later. You are one of social media besties!
I have had some crazy weeks the last few weeks. I'm thankful for your uploads and was definitely missing the calm and peace last week but I totally want you to do what is best for you. Thanks for the chatty garden video!
This video. Thanks for sharing your trip. Thanks for being real. And the ending was my favorite. I lost a niece in September. We also celebrate her with butterflies. I too am at a career vs family crossroads, I love what you shared.
Thank you so much for another great video! And the reminder that making decisions for your family or your mental health are always the right decisions. I found you when I was obsessed with decluttering content and I've stayed because all of your content warms my heart. I'm stuck in the thick of it with my kids right now and I see hope that I get some of me back one day ❤ thank you
Oh, your footage and description of Skagit Valley made me homesick! 😭 I think of the tulips every April. 🌷This week, I’ve been a bit nostalgic about the strawberries. 😉
I have always admired you for your authenticity and for being honest and able to put your family first at all times. I have been watching you for the past five years and I have learned some much from you. The love of God throughly shines through you. Every one of your videos brings me peace and teaches me to be content and find joy in each season of life. God bless you ❤
Wow, I am so touched by this comment! Truly, being authentic and honest are things that are so important to me as a creator, and to have these attributes specifically called out and noticed means the world to me-you don’t even know!!! 🫶
@@NatalieBennett aww 🥰 thank you for your quick reply. You know in the world of social media sometimes is hard to find genuine people who bring out the best of you or that inspire you to be a better person in all aspects of life. I have truly find this is you that’s why no matter what video you put out I’m always watching even though I don’t always comment. I know that after I get done watching I’ll have a new tool or have realized something that I should be grateful for 🥹. God is so good and he uses you in my life in many ways.
Your garden updates are making me want to try gardening! I grew up on a strawberry farm and swore that I had done enough weeding for one lifetime, but I think enough time has passed that I’d be ready to dig in some dirt if we didn’t live in a Chicago condo. Continuing to think of you and your family and to support any and every step you need to take for your own health and healing. ❤️
Echoing a sentiment that many others have shared already in the comments section, I've been watching your videos for about 4 years now and always find them educational, relaxing, and fun. Despite our lives being total opposites (you live in a home with your family, I live in a studio alone in a big city), we share many similarities and I think it's really special that you share glimpses into your daily life with us.
I have chronic illness that robs me of a lot of energy, and I started kindergarten with my twins this year. I've had to step back from a lot of things to give myself the energy to teach them. I'm frustrated that I have to choose between educating my boys OR doing other things like gardening and canning. But I will gladly choose educating my boys over anything else and hope that as school becomes more routine for us, I can eventually add some things back in.
Your videos are calming and soothing to watch. They've helped me briefly take my mind off the difficult situation I have been going through with a loved one who suffered a very unexpected life altering situation in February, recovery has been very slow and definitely will take a really long time, if full recovery at all 😔So thank you for posting videos when you can!
Oh my goodness. I am praying for you so much, friend. I hope you’re headed into a peaceful, healing season and that the Lord continues to hold you close. ♥️
I love you and my kids love you too. The 2.5 and 3.5 yr olds will see a thumb nail and say "I wanna watch Natalie" I'm glad you are slowing down. We all need to do that sometimes. Prayers momma
Your videos always make me feel like I'm hanging out with a friend! Seeing you working on projects makes me feel like yep I can give my project a try! Thanks for sharing and motivating! ❤
So glad y’all got to enjoy such a fun family vacation!! Looks so beautiful! You were missed last week but love that you’re taking the time you need all for your family! ❤️ I’m so excited to see what your garden is going to do this year! 😊
What I use as a potting bench is a 48 inch workbench which is usually used in the garage. It has a light and electical plug-in and a peg board to hang garden tools etc. I wouldnt recommend it out in the open, but on the patio it works great. Plenty of room for pots, soil, fertilizer etc., on the shelves. I purchased mine a few years ago and it was $80.00 they are a little more now but worth it. I also used press and peel floor tile on the table top and bottom shelf for easy clean up....
As a girl who grew up an hour and a half from Crescent City, it shocked me to hear thats where you stayed. I recommend Trinidad, less than an hour south of CC. They have SO many entertainment options closeby, as well as phenomenal views. I lived about 30 minutes from there and take my husband every time we visit home because its gorgeous. Lots more food options and you can go to Sequoia Park in Eureka, where the slides for kids are in between redwood trees!
Great Table. I would move it to the garage, then I would have my husband check and see if it needs additional screws to make it sturdier. Then I would clean it well all over with a dry brush, light water, old cloths and then allow it to dry really well. Then I would do two to three coats of sealant on every inch of it and allow it to dry well after each one. Then the table will last you for a long time and will be easy to keep it clean. Enjoy :)
Hey Natalie, congratulations, your garden is really turning up beautiful. Love to hang out with you and completely support you. Love all the way from India. Stay happy and blessed 💐💐💐
I’m in the mood to see updated summer evening and morning routines on your channel. And I want compliment you on this completely charming video. Thanks ❤!
Natalie, I've been more of a sporadic viewer the past year or so...my husband was diagnosed with cancer last summer and at the same time we moved homes in a very stressful way (our landlord wanted to sell our house and the only home we could find in our area that felt safe is half the size and much less private) ...it became hard for me to see someone whose life seemed to be more and more unattainable to me. I wanted to say though that I warms my heart to see how happy and content you seem in this video and it just made me smile...so glad you are doing well!
I was dying when I saw that Judy’s Bluey cake was the duck cake. 🤣🤣 We have several Bluey fans in our house; it’s such a cute show. So glad y’all had a great family vacation. Love seeing your garden coming together! 🤗👏🏻
A little pasta trick for future salads. Run under cold water as soon as you drain the hot water out, run over the pasta until the pasta has cooled. Once cooled and drained, put a drizzle of olive oil and toss through. The cold water stops it from cooking further, and the olive oil keeps it from sticking together. 😊
Our lilac is in full bloom here in Utah! I love watching you garden to live vicariously through you since I’m not in a season of life where I can garden. I also love your decluttering and organizing videos, but will honestly watch anything you share. You are one of my favorite people ❤️
Always enjoy your videos. You are so encouraging and inspiring. Thank you for being willing to share your journey and offering all the tidbits that you do. Blessings!
It's fun to hear that you pay your kids for extra projects in the garden. I loved that my mom did that for us when we were younger -- it made me feel like my time/labor was valued!
You are such a blessing to me. I'm so glad I found you. You are definitely an encouraging person and I like how you show real life. I so look forward to your videos. May God continue to bless you so that you may bless us!!
You’re such a delight to watch and listen to. I am enjoying your gardening 🪴 videos lately. Throwing in a quick meal, clean up & yummy coffee recipes are also on my Natalie list. Your “favorites” are good too. Okay just everything u do is wonderful and entertaining 🐥
Hi Natalie, it was a lovely video thank you. I like watching all your videos and yes I would have happily watched you put the tools in your new shed 😂. I’m pleased that you are slowing down on your videos as your children will grow in a blink of an eye so the more time you spend with them the better. Your garden is doing well it’s lovely that the children get involved. Take care xxx
I always enjoy all of your content. I grew with lilacs in our yard in Seattle and it's my favorite part of spring. I cut them and put all over the house.
Thank you for showing your trip to the Redwoods! I grew up in Oregon but now live in Michigan. I Miss the smell of the PNW!. I swear I could smell that while I watched your video! Thank you!
You do sooo much! The garden is exciting and promising, and your trip looked like so much fun. The awe in the faces of your kids was great to see. I still say, do whatever you want with your recording schedule; whatever works best for you, we are happy to see.
I love your garden, Natalie! You are making such good progress. It makes me miss my garden that I used to have when I lived at home with my Mom. I now live in a condo with just a patio.
I hope you keep a garden journal or notebook. It’s a great way to keep track of what you plant each year, when you plant it, where. Also what worked and didn’t. Too much lettuce not enough ____, etc. Its like your garden baby book. Add in a few of your thoughts and you have something not only useful from year to year but a memory book to be looked through decades from now.
I love anything you video. Vlogs are fun. Your garden looks great! I'm just getting started with my garden. I'm looking forward to seeing your next video.
If you take care of yourself 💕you will be able to care for others 🥰thank you for the reminder and as always enjoyable videos 👏❤️💕love your garden and the way you set it up 👍lots of love 💕
Your general health and mental health as well as your family should always be no 1 as much as we would all love to see more I think everyone understands ❤
I went to Crescent city with my grandma and grandpa when I was 12 and I had a very similar experience. Loved the redwoods and beach but the town itself could use some development to really become a destination. So glad you enjoyed yourselves I still remember that trip even though it was 17 years ago
The redwoods looked like fun. I’ve never been anywhere out west. I was born no raised in Ohio. Just moved three years ago to Georgia. And I love it. But there is not much flat land around me. We bought almost six acres. But it’s on the side of a small mountain. So we don’t get to enjoy our land. We have a small backyard we fenced for our dogs. And we were fencing the front yard for a dog who someone dumped around us. But she was too much for us. So we had to take her to a local shelter. Which hurt my soul. I’m an animal lover. I have three small dogs. And she was a huge puppy. And I followed her at the shelter. And she was adopted a little while after getting spayed. Which we paid for. I also feed all the cats around me. They were born feral. But I can pet most of them. And now we have new kittens around. They are just adorable. But we would love to move somewhere flat. We have six grandchildren who live close by. And my husband wants to get some kind of mini bike for my older grandson to ride here. But not where we live now. We do have a driveway. But it’s all trees on the side and there are lots of poisonous snakes around here. I’m going to get my husband some snake boots so he can walk up there. And he gets our grass, or weeds, in our back and front yard with a weed eater. We don’t have real grass. Which isn’t great with three dogs. And it’s been raining a lot lately. I would love to have chickens. But we have coyotes and foxes around here. And I don’t want them coming around the house. There are too many cats, kittens and dogs they could hurt. I’m glad you’re slowing down and taking care of yourself. That’s important for everyone.
Thank you so much Natalie!!! Really enjoy all your videos. Wow! Your vacation looked AMAZING!! I've been to the Sequoias and loved visiting the Walk of 100 Giants..It's amazing to me how I feel you are a dear friend and we've never met!! Love you guys and your channel. God Bless you and your family. 🌻💛🌻
I definitely really feel lighter and encouraged after watching your videos. Thanks for all the lovely content. I especially love watching the garden content. And I’m a soon to be new chicken mom too so I’m excited to see your chickens 😂
When I watch your videos, I have always felt like I’m just spending time with a friend 😊 and what you said about being in a crossroads and deciding to spend more time with family was exactly the encouragement I needed to hear. 🥲 Thank you ❤
@@NatalieBennett I’m definitely learning. I started smaller and started following your mom too. Now that we live in the Midwest our growing season is dramatically different and starts later. After a couple years of growing things in pots, we will put a garden in the yard. Baby steps definitely helps.
love the nature! I haven't been to redwoods, but I have been to Yosemite and sequoia and that was so memorable. My parents took me when I was 12 from Europe to the western USA. Whish I could plant my peas and peppers and such in my garden already. But it's still cold here, especially at night, around freezing. Last frost date is next week but the weateh ris unseasonably cold. Such a sweet remebering gift. You can make or buy butterfly drinking stations perhaps if the flowers bloom that is a sweet addition.
Everything is looking so good..can’t wait to see the sunflowers and the garden explode..I’d looove to go to the REDWOODS!!..glad u got to get away and enjoy yourselves..🙏💜🙏
I love this laid-back, unplanned(ish) vlog! I think the butterfly garden is awesome! I'm so glad you are respecting yours and your families needs.😊 And yes, I do want to see you load up the shed😂😂😂
Love your videos. Fun fact where I live, Rochester, New York, we are know for our Lilac Festival which just started yesterday. You would love it! People come from all over the country to attend it.
During your intro reel of the roadside trees I was thinking “wow, that looks exactly like Humboldt” then a minute or two later you said you visited crescent city. 😂 It certainly is beautiful here on the “lost coast”
I love your videos! While I have a totally different life than you, I always love watching and get inspiration from you! I will miss your 1st Tuesday of the month video, but you do what works for you and your family!
Natalie, you are such a sweetheart 💕, I love this video. You are doing little things. Also, with you & your family at the redwoods. It is enormous to see those redwoods up close & personal. We've been there a few times. We have a pic with our suv in that big redwood! It barely fits! Love your garden. I need to get mine going, too! I'm just a little late, but I'll get there. I'm so glad you had a wonderful vacation! That potting table looks terrific! I love vintage stuff! You have big plans for that area where the potting table is. You'll get there. It's looking better & better. Can't wait till you get chickens & they'll be running around following you all over! Becky of Becky acre, her chickens follow her all over, but they have to put them in a pen, or they'll eat her veggies garden. It's temporary. They will be building a permanent one later on. It's so fun watching both you young ladies, with your gardens, cooking & children. Thanks for sharing!❤☺️🌷🍄🪴
Your garden looks so great! We had our first real rain of the year yesterday, and won’t even think about planting anything for a few more weeks. Much of the province is on fire, with over 30,000 folk evacuated - prayers for rain and safety would be appreciated
So glad you’re taking time to slow down. I need to take a leaf out of your book! Life has been hectic this past year (travel for toddler’s 3 surgeries, new baby and no sleep 🤪, two older kiddos and all their activities) and I just feel like a popped balloon. I keep telling myself, it’s Ok that the house isn’t show home worthy, it’s more important to be present with my kids because I don’t have the energy to do both right now. 2 Cor 12:9 has been my mantra of late: My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. 💕
Girl I could watch an hour long timelapse of you guys just gardening or doing whatever tbh. Nothing is boring. Your channel gives me peace.♥️

You do sooo much! The garden is exciting and promising, and your trip looked like so much fun. The awe in the faces of your kids was great to see. I still say, do whatever you want with your recording schedule; whatever works best for you, we are happy to see.
Happy sunny day Natalie and family
Hello, Lesly!!! Happy Sunny day to you and yours as well!
So very happy for you!!!💗
I love your garden, Natalie! You are making such good progress. It makes me miss my garden that I used to have when I lived at home with my Mom. I now live in a condo with just a patio.
Happy mother's Day coming up:)
Thank you! Same to you!♥️
I love your videos Natalie, everything you post is interesting! Keep going and i wish your family and you to be happy and healthy! Kisses
I do!
I mean I watch ALL of your content. I watch for your beautiful personality so do whatever you want to do!
You’re the best!!!
I went to Crescent city with my grandma and grandpa when I was 12 and I had a very similar experience. Loved the redwoods and beach but the town itself could use some development to really become a destination. So glad you enjoyed yourselves I still remember that trip even though it was 17 years ago
Sitting here with my coffee and you friend!! Thanks for this video
Love your videos, enjoy your time with your family ❤
Spring has felt so late this year here in 🇬🇧 looks like your garden is coming along beautifully ❤ have a wonderful week 🥰
Oh my gosh that duck cake! So classically Australian! Happy Birthday Judy!
wow! the dream of walking in the redwood forest!!!! Magnificent
incomparable with the forests here (north east of France) 🇫🇷
🌻💛🌻
Love the vlogs Natalie. Looking forward to seeing the chickens! The Redwoods were so majestic. Thanks for sharing your time there with us💞
I definitely really feel lighter and encouraged after watching your videos.
🥲 Thank you ❤
That potting bench is perfect! Love your content and your videos! ❤
I love the garden stuff. I’m trying to learn how to grow things. It’s not going well, but I’m trying.
It’s all a process!! Progress over perfection, right? ♥️
@@NatalieBennett I’m definitely learning. I started smaller and started following your mom too. Now that we live in the Midwest our growing season is dramatically different and starts later. After a couple years of growing things in pots, we will put a garden in the yard. Baby steps definitely helps.
Thanks for sharing your family vacation. Your garden is looking great!
love the nature!
Love your dress in the start of the video. You look so relaxed and ready to tackle whatever comes your way!
This video was just what I needed today❤
I love this laid-back, unplanned(ish) vlog! I think the butterfly garden is awesome! I'm so glad you are respecting yours and your families needs.😊
And yes, I do want to see you load up the shed😂😂😂
Oh I watch Kimberly Whisk too 😄
Love your videos. Fun fact where I live, Rochester, New York, we are know for our Lilac Festival which just started yesterday. You would love it! People come from all over the country to attend it.
Enjoy the gardening. We also garden. Mostly tomatoes, potatoes, squash and other veggies
Such a lovely video as always. Take care of yourself and your lovely family 🥰🥰🥰
Your garden is looking so lovely Natalie 💚 and that bench is just lovely 🥰
Your garden looks so great! We had our first real rain of the year yesterday, and won’t even think about planting anything for a few more weeks. Much of the province is on fire, with over 30,000 folk evacuated - prayers for rain and safety would be appreciated
Oh my goodness! Praying for everyone affected by these fires!
