I’ve been watching you since you were pregnant with Hailey. Fast forward to 2023, and I’m sat here in awe watching this vlog feeding my own little girl called Hailey-Autumn. You’ve been such a big part of my life and have influenced so many areas in my family. You introduced my love of decluttering and a simpler life through the pandemic and I couldn’t thank you enough for always being so raw and honest. Myself, my partner and my two oldest of the three girls are all neurodivergent and you’ve really helped me with advice on sensory issues lately. Thank you for everything 🤎

We went to Norway this year for our 50th wedding anniversary. We flew in and out of Amsterdam. While we were in Amsterdam I bought a lot of tulips for my daughters and sister and myself. I'm glad you said something about it freezing cause I live in your area, so I need to get mine in😊

We live in the city, with a tiny yard, but whoever lived in our house before us planted bulbs everywhere possible. I cannot even explain the joy they bring me in the Spring. We've been here 6 years, and they still come back every year, despite the fact that I basically have the opposite of a green thumb 😅

Ok, seriously, this is one of my favorite videos! The content was great, extended time with Hailey was so beautiful (she's so cute and growing up so fast!), the video shots you took are amazing (apple pie segment = lovely), and the editing was perfect. It was fun to watch and also very relaxing.
Beware of the deer and tulips. They love it. I never actually got to see many of my tulips ( over two hundred bulbs!) the deer thought it was a welcome spring treat for them! It made for great deer viewing for the kids though. Luckily I planted hyacinths and daffodils which they left alone

I love tulips but every time I plant them the chipmunk we named Charlie that lives under my flower bed, he either eats them or he moves them and replants them in other places. We will find a random tulip somewhere on our property not where we put it lol. We just laugh and say that Charlie likes to garden 😂
Crocuses and daffodils are the best! I have actually seen my purple crocuses come up and peek out of the top of snow. So pretty! Can't wait to see yours!

Was lovely to FINALLY have your kids in the video, they made it so complete. Reminded me of the good old weekly vlogs. Please involve the more often, so nice to see them around being productive and happy ❤
I really strive to protect their privacy and autonomy! I’m not purposely hiding them when they’re not in my videos but rather giving them the space to enjoy their home life camera-free! It was one of the main reasons we stopped doing family vlogs.
With that said, it is a special treat when they pop in and join me for a little part of a video- like Hailey did today.
We will continue, though, to put our family first and if that means not showing much of them, then so be it! Worth it for their mental health and peace! 🫶

Give some citrus essential oil a try to remove the sticky residue from the drawers, I did this last week and it worked like a charm!

They might! From what I've learned they do need a very cold period either in the freezer or the frozen ground to help them sprout in the spring! I think that's why they do so well here in Skagit Valley WA!
@@NatalieBennettSWEET! Well we don't quite get a frost here in Ceres, but my Grandfather actually comes down from his house in Tieton, WA every winter/spring season and loves his daffodils back home. I think I'll try it this year so he's less homesick😊

I've just watched the coffee bit and it's so alien to me in the UK to see kids drinking coffee, although we probably drank (non decaf) cuppa tea (usually with lots of sugar milk) but coffee seems like an adult drink it's so funny to see. It was also the sweetest thing, she is so funny "0 out of 10" 😂 ❤

We just got my 18-month-old a kitchen helper-type step stool, and yesterday he helped me wash dishes and watched me cook dinner. Seeing you and Hailey in the kitchen makes me look forward to doing more and more with him as he gets bigger!

Loved this cozy chatty video! I'm always inspired by your natural approach to homemaking and especially leading up to the holiday season would love to see content around hosting, organizing and storing hostess ware, what serving arrangements are made for different groups (buffet vs sit down) and all the tips and tricks leading up to this special time of year. One of the biggest tips you had a few years ago was to store all the holiday meal groceries together in a cooler and leave on the deck instead of mixing them in with your regular groceries. Love that and have used it especially in winter where it gets cold here in our part of Canada!
