Rafael is the Michaelangelo of woodwork of the 21st Century ❤👏
Hahaha thanks a lot buddy😊
Omg you’re so blind about the real woodworking. That video show only a nice restoration but has nothing incredible and everybody who’s a bit skilled with their hands and have professional tools can do the same.
Lindíssimo!!!🌹❤️
@@Simon-qg9nh he is somewhere in between. He has great taste. He transforms tired relics into updated pieces. He is more skilled than a “woodworker” who uses a CNC machine. Give the man some credit.
@@TamingTheSprue I agree with you but to use this superlative, I find it exaggerated. There are woodworkers who make things that are not necessarily more beautiful but much more technical. Rafael has very good ideas, impeccable execution and incredible patience but there is much more difficult and technical.
Your work impeccable! Love watching your videos, but have a small suggestion:
Have you thought about switching the background music between videos, or using multiple songs in the same video? For someone who wants to watch several videos in a row, hearing the same song for almost an hour can be a little grating. Wish you the best!
Thank you for your advice Anna! Really appreciate it👍
I am impressed by this work but I have to watch them in mute. The music was driving me crazy 😜
I liked a video where there was no music just the sound of him working.
Last one is without music 😊
I love all your videos!!! But I was just wondering why you chose to cover that beautiful wood grain in this one? That surprised me and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t sad to see it covered.
Your work is impeccable and beautiful!
Wow! You treat the piece with care and love and the result is a work of art! Fisrt time here and a became a fan.
Thank you very much! Really appreciate it 😄
Your attention to detail is amazing. I’m glad I stumbled across your videos. Even if all I take away from them is wishing I had a workshop outfitted like yours 😅
So happy you like it 😄😄 Thank you so much😃❤️
Exquisite work Rhapael 👌❤️❤️
I adore the craftsmanship with the art of new design you do ! Perfection 😉
Thank you very much for kind words 😊😊😊🤗
I cannot stop watching your work. The attention to detail has sucked me in. 😍😍😍😍
I went to your Etsy shop to check out your products and find out where you're located...I wanted to be an apprentice in your shop...LOL!!! But you're in the UK and I'm in the states...I guess I have to settle for your youtube videos...which, by the way, are phenomenal!
Thank you for your lovely feedback ☺️
This is so professional... I attempted to spray paint a piece of furniture for my latest video but it tdly failed. The art I painted on it didn't though... I think. Would love to know what you think of it :)
Thank you for kind words 😊 I will check 👍👍
Amazing, your incredible the care & time you take to restore a piece of furniture is just unbelievable. Well done, just fantastic.
So happy you like it 😄😄 Thank you so much😃❤️
Well, you took a very nice piece of Mid Century Modern Teak Veneered furniture, and converted
it with ugly paint into a piece of Cheap Ikea Krap. Dude, the Shabby Shit Fad is OVER - stop
painting good furniture and turning it into CRAP !!
I am learning from you, because you are the creator of your wonderful work and master. Continue this creativity
Glad you like it! 😊Thank you so much😊❤️😊
Another beauty! 💙💛 great colour Raphael. I like to see Mr DeWalt smiling away whilst he works lol
A+ for your work and skills, but C- for the damn music rolling on the back…thanks anyway!
It was so good before tho
Absolutely agree with you 👍 But client ask for blue navy 😊
Me gusta mucho la manera de restaurar los muebles de la forma que usted lo hace, felicidades señor
Fantastic video and work, just four d your channel and I'm loving it. Can I ask how robust do you find the valspar paint. I have used it and find it chips fairly easily. Also what clear coat are you using? Keep up the great work.
Thank you very much Colin! Valspar is ok. Not super perfect but ok😊😊👌 I'm always using water based satin varnish to cover any kind of paint 😊
Parabéns, ficou maravilhosa!!! Você é muito talentoso!!!
It's a shame that in the end when you show the result, you put a frame from another video covering what one wants to see at the end :(. You are still very good with restorations.
Thanks for your feedback 😊👍😊
Wow me and you got the same gift of Reinventing furniture
Great work even better camera stuff, why spoil it with such shit music?
you kept those ugly handles, and you threw those cool adjustable legs :(
looks like RUclips just recommended my future husband to me.
Absolutely excellent craftsmanship!
Great work and video, only one suggestion maybe - music + original sound effect. 😉
Thanks for your feedback 😊👍😊
Have you ever done bone or shell inlay... i seen people stencil it but that looks shit.
I love your work. I've been watching one after another of your videos as often as I can. You have great artistic vision with these pieces. But when I got to this video it's got motion video, moving in and out and around. Too much for me. It made me totally nauseous, like being car sick and couldn't watch any more :( Keep up the good work, less motion video and I'll keep following.
Haha it was kind of test video, I know not brilliant 😊😊😊 Thank you for kind words 👍😉
Thank you so much for sharing your work. The production value and the attention to detail are amazing. Your channel is honestly furniture rehab porn.
Haha thank you very much😊 "All in details" 😁👍
New subscriber here and I noticed a bunch of people mentioning no music suggestion, I just mute it, but I do like the sound of the wood working in your last videos. I have to say though, all of the camera shots where it moves with your hand really makes me nauseous. I love your previous videos and the attention to detail that the videos show but this one seemed so flashy it took away from your work. Just a suggestion.
That being said, you are an incredible artist. Your work is so amazing and I am just blown away by it every time! Nice job.
Thank you for your feedback Lindsay! This video was kind of camera experiment. I know, not brilliant 😂😂😂
Just making me jealous since I have a couple projects sitting in my garage that I can't work on because school is killing me.
Refinishing our dining table and chairs with painted legs and french polishing the oak top/seat, and refinishing a nasty ikea bent plywood chair and ottoman by stripping the hideous black paint and walnut staining/french polishing the legs.
Love your channel, I tend to always prefer raw wood, but you've given me quite a few accent paint ideas that I'm totally going to use.
I would recommend you switch to paint stripper and a paint scraper for the initial stripping though - the orbit sander has a habit of rounding off edges and the overall cost of stripping is quite a lot cheaper than sandpaper, and the time involved is roughly the same.
I used to love the the audio until you put the stupid music now I have to watch it without sound
Fantastic..I need a master class for repair my forniture. BEST REGARDS FROM SPAIN
Thank you so much 😊
Hello. Your works are amazingly beautiful !!! tell me that you are single and I will come to you🤗👍❤️
Hahha thank you for your feedback 😊😊😊
Amazing color great work so cool 😎
Thank you very much Gabriel😄
I just found your videos. I admire what you are doing with the restorations. I have to commend you for some really beautiful videos, particularly this one! Really innovative camera angles and shots and some very nice editing! Not something I was expecting from furniture restoration! Great job! Looking forward to watching more!
Thank you very much for your time and lovely comment! Really appreciate it Linda😊
Honestly it's so slick it feels like an infomercial for the paint company.
Sir you are a true artist. Thank you for making your videos, they are inspiring.
Thank you very much for kind words 🤗🤗🤗
What are you spraying over the painted pieces?
I still look at your work you did a year ago. I love to watch you turn old furniture into pieces I would love to have. I've never seen anyone else restore furniture like you. Please show some more.
Thanks for your feedback 😊👍😊
Can I ask what is your sprays set up? Want to set up one which is portable and reliable ,not crazy expensive
All my equipment u can find in video description 😊
You should consider having a spray booth with an extractor and a drying room separate from your workshop which would be a lot healthier for you - spay dust will stay in the air for hours unless you have good airflow and would stop any cross contamination as in airborne dust from your sanding which also will stay in the air for hours
Thank you very much for your great feedback Derek! Really appreciate it 😊I wish I have spray booth and bigger workshop 😊 unfortunately I have no free space for it 😭 Thanks once again 😊
There's always Someday, right?! Which with this RUclips channel of yours, it could be sooner than you think!!
Do you live in a cold climate ? Is that why you used a heat gun with the wax ? So it would thin out and sink in to the wood better?
I used gun just for remove excess of wax and better shine 😉
Love your work. Can you tell me if you used white spirit on the blue paint aswell to thin it?
White spirit is only for cleaning up.. I'm using waterbased paint so u can only use water to thin it.... Depends what kind paint u using......
Hello from the US. I just found your channel & I am highly, but yet, fearfully impressed with your work!! You're very detailed, meticulous on every part from beginning to end. There's no cutting corners with you!!
I'm just an admirer of this kind of work & you just add your fabulous touches - like artwork on a masterpiece; photography; spots, angles & close ups to the disciplined work in geo design. Makes me believe you're on your way to a successful & blessed future!! 😊
I just watched all five videos in a row & here are my thoughts & questions;
• How do you decide on the paint/stain color & design within piece? Especially on the episode with the powder pink dresser.
• A idea came to me while watching the herringbone technique vid, it would look fabulously cool to do a tufted-look. I think you'd be the man to successfully do it!
• Not that I need to know but I would like to know, the different types of wood you find under the paint & stain. Could you put it in the description box? Thanks!
Well, carry on with your masterpieces!
Blessings!‼❤
Great job, like an artist👌 don’t stop this work👌
Thanks a lot Tomi😊
Uauuu! Um artista ❤👏👏
Love how meticulous you are. Your videos are addicting.
But I was hoping you'd change the hardware on this one.
Thanks for your feedback 😊👍😊
The edition of this video is cool. But what Rafael do is art! Perfect
Thank you for your feedback! Really appreciate it 😊😊👍
It’s just a masterpiece!💪👍🙏😍🔥✨
Thank you for your feedback 😊😉😊
Parabéns pelo trabalho
You are an excellent carpenter but i think u r even better film maker.
Hahaha thank you so much 😄
Ciao bel lavoro che colori usi?
Is this a solid wood piece or are you sanding the finish off of veneer? Beautifulwork
90% of mid century pieces unfortunately aren't solid wood. Most people thinking they are, but not. Sanding just veneer😊
@@Madebyraphael would love to see a video where you remove and replace veneer on a piece. I have a nine drawer lane dresser designed by Paul Evens that I found on the side of the road and want to bring back to life pretty solid condition but the veneer on the top part can not be saved. Water damage to the particle board. Really struggling to find any good videos. Looking forward to your next piece.
More please :-)
Will post soon 😄
If you want a helper ..thanks in am ready
Haha thank you😊
Ole por esas manos tan creativa ¡enhorabuena! 👍👏
Many thanks 😁
Did you spray polyurethane on prior to finishing with the Danish Oil? It is so relaxing watching you work. You literally are what I strive to be like when working with furniture. I wish you'd post more videos so I can learn more from you.
No I do not using polyurethane 😊 thank you for kind words 😊
Excelente trabajo! Saludos desde Rosario, Argentina.
Thank you so much 😄
I won’t lie to you, My mid-century soul cried out when you pulled out the white and then blue paint, but it wasn’t ‘shabby chic’ or chalk paint so you are forgiven.
Haha thank you for your feedback 😊
Amei, parabéns, excelente trabalho. Adoro assistir seus vídeos.
I love this. What is the Color called?
That's Blue Arch by @valspar
I love sooo much your work
Keep going.I just subscribed also. You have talent
Thank you very much for kind words! Really appreciate it 😀🤗😀
Ok, this is video 3 , very gifted. The person that videos you does excellent work also. I want a shop like this ! This is hard work but I see it is a joy for you .
Thank you once again 😊
Perfection!
Don't forget to wear your safety glasses please. You're working with a lot of machinery.
Thanks for advice 😊😊👍
Bravo 👏🏻

Genial ¡¡¡
Привет из России. У тебя отличные идеи для реставрации. Желаю тебе успехов в твоём творчестве.
Amazing Work sir! Not only is your craftsmanship with furniture good but your video editing is good too. Cant wait to see more.

В какой же стране живут такие виртуозы? 🙏🙏🙏👍

That blue was an awesome choice. Do you sell your furniture anywhere?
Thank you! Yes, I have Etsy shop. Link in video description 😊
Quality work my friend! Is that the Fugi 4 turbine system you are using? Thanks.
Thank you Jack! Yes, that's exactly what I'm using 😄
Beautiful your work, but please change the music from time to time, thanks n.n
Thank you for your feedback and advice Tefys😊😊
Excellent work 👏👏👏👏👍👍
Thank you once again 😊
Wood working really good. Amazing ideas well executed. Sadly the music is so rubbish, I cant stay with your channel. Seriously, leave the music out of your videos and you could have way more viewers. Nonetheless, good luck to you.
Thank you very much for your feedback 😊 music? I know☺️ still learning. Last one is without music 😊
@@Madebyraphael sorry for being so harsh. You ve got so much talent. You don't need music. The only woodworking channel where I can stomach music is Michael Alm and it's very discrete.
And please continue your work as you have saved pieces of furniture that normally would end up in a skip and turned them into great pieces.
No worries 😁 every advice is very helpful for me😊 I watched his video s and he do amazing work 😊 have a great day 😊
Your furniture is known all over the world,l admire and watch your films all the time how hard You work.Beautiful furniture!💖😘

@@Madebyraphael thank you for taking this as constructive instead of oh well go to another site. Im am artist and creative. Im not in my full mode yet but, its about getting thd house together after long toxic relationship n on unemployment. I am feng shuiing n a DIY girl. I have plans to do jewelry, paint, youtube and decorating stuff. I know about marketing. I know you are doing your passion n it is great. I love watching decorating etc videos. Your nit the only one who's music actually takes away from the video as ice heard from another designers video. If it was the same music but a song.
More viewers more money honey
