"Empty Nest" is set in Miami and tells of the day to day misadventures of a widowed pediatrician, Harry Weston, and his two adult daughters, Barbara and Carol Weston, who have come back to live with him after failed marriages. Much of the humor is derived from Barbara and Carols' ongoing attempts, and failure, to find the perfect partner, and once again leave the "nest". There is also the skirt-chasing next door neighbor, Charlie Dietz and Harry's southern nurse, Laverne Todd, unique for her unbelievable Hickory stories. Empty Nest is an American sitcom television series that originally aired on NBC from October 8, 1988, to April 29, 1995. The series, which was created as a spin-off of The Golden Girls by creator and producer Susan Harris, starred Richard Mulligan as recently widowed pediatrician Dr. Harry Weston, whose two adult daughters return home to live with him. Starring: Richard Mulligan, Kristy McNichol, Dinah Manoff, David Leisure, Park Overall, Paul Provenza, Lisa Rieffel, Marsha Warfield, Estelle Getty. I love how Dreyfus only knows two tricks. Face on table, and hiding under the sink.
Stop it Dreyfus. So cute.
and standing, momentarily, on his back legs, as shown in this episode.
At the end looked like Dreyfus was goong to bite Dinah

Christopher McDonald also guest-starred on an episode of Cheers. He was the Red Sox player who borrowed Sam's lucky bottle cap.

Picture old-time movies you've seen, where, typically a French chef, dressed up like a gourmet chef, with the hat and everything, puts all the fingertips of one hand together, places those joined-fingertips to his smoochie-lips, and pulling those fingertips away and opening the hand, he says "Perfect!" in describing his specialty dish. That's the chef's "kiss."
I just love Dreyfus!
Nick took a successful business and completely destroyed it with his incredibly stupid changes.
