Without God we are nothing. He is our everything. God loves us. He blesses us all. He is our father and we are his children. Let's remember God loves us through his son Jesus. Through the cross let's love him and others again. This me movement is not the Lord. Let's live for him
The lady's right when she says that Christ is Our sufficiency!
I am who God says I am! I'm fearfully and wonderfully made! God molds and shapes me for I am not a finished product!
Yess! The truth is His grace is enough 🎉
Thank you Kirk and your lovely guest.
God is our Helper
Great perspective. Thank you! ☺️
I guess when believers are FILLED with the Holy Spirit, I can understand that Him inside of us is enough. We have the indwelling of Him living inside of He is enough in us. Us without Jesus is not enough at all.
As Jesus’ Way. You are enough. I interpret you are enough as I am enough for my present time with my walk with The Lord Jesus. He redeems me from turning away from Him and stay in His Anointing. I am enough and confident that Messiah Yeshua has redeemed those who put His Kingdom first. Blessings and prayers In Jesus Name. God bless.
Thank you for this. This is awesome!!!
Thank you. I always felt depressed when i would try to cope by saying i am enough. Seemed cringy
Tell a generation they are enough. . . And you get the entitled, spoiled, idiots we have today.
Ugh. It depends on what people actually mean when they say "You are enough". Often those words are being directed at a person who has been raised in fundamentalist, legalistic, conservative, Christianity where people have been taught that they are nothing without God or Jesus.
The person no longer believes but is struggling to construct a new life given the collapse of the old world view. "You are enough" is a way of encouraging the person to understand that they can live without the poison of the old world view.
For sure, sometimes the words are said in the context of self-centredness. But often they are not.
Born again, bible believing Christians are often utterly clueless about the things they talk about. Deconstruction is one such thing. Being a Christian does not automatically confer wisdom onto a person.
RyanPen33-let me help you. You were never a Christian which is why you are not one now. God doesn't save a person and let them go. Basic biblical principle 1 John 2:19.
They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us.
What on earth is Alisa talking about? There is a bait and switch going on here. The bait is about the daily personal struggles people have (and this includes true Christians). The switch is to salvation in Jesus.
So let's stick to real world issues.
//2:04 "Self cannot be both the problem and the solution"//
It can actually, if "the self" has things like self-awareness. Then, the self can walk into a problem and have the self-awareness to realise what it has done, and so find a solution to the problem.
Besides, many ex Christians come to understand that with so much of Christian theology, God is the problem and the solution. Hence if we really are made in the image of God then we can be the problem and the solution. So what on earth is Allie talking about?
//3:13 "I'm not enough. You are not enough. But when you trust in Jesus, his enoughness gets put on you ..."//
If Jesus is enough for broken people then Christians would be much, much better than they actually are, right? Particularly so in comparison to the rest of the world.
But that is not what we actually see. Sometimes Christians are great, brilliant, wonderful. I have several beaut Christian friends. But then sometimes worldly people are great, brilliant, wonderful.
Sometimes Christians are ugly, selfish, stupid and destructive. But then sometimes worldly people are ugly, selfish, stupid and destructive.
^^ So to say that compared to we broken people, Jesus is enough, then what on earth is Alisa claiming?
I mean, just listen to you people talking about your own struggles. Are you seriously trying to kid the rest of us that you now have no struggles??????
I think you need to quit with the hyperbolic language and offer fair and reasonable criticisms of the world and that includes your own churches and your own theologies.
The feminist movement has long been working against women and the family. The idea that WE ARE ENOUGH is not new It’s a lie from Satan that we have any right above Jesus in me. We have bought into this lie. God is The Creator and He makes the rules whether we like it or not. Sodom and Gomorrah are proof that He will never accept sin and He alone Has the Power.
Ex Christian here - I will happily host a video call with anyone to explain why I am no longer Christian
But I expect y’all won’t because you’re afraid to honestly engage
You were never a Christian -perhaps by Tradition
Because If you were a Christian, you would know that he IS real
By the way:like all Atheists, you looking Videos about chritiany and then mocking it
But why fighting against something and someone who doesn't exist in your opinion....
That 's schizophrenic
By the way:why don't fighting Allah, Mohammed, Buddha
I know why:cause none of them is god and none of them tells you, you are a sinner
And you don't want to hear this
God bless you ❤️
