Personally I felt Torch was remarkably patient with the little boy in the second movie (considering his usual temperament, at least). He let the kid pick him up and didn't do anything even when the kid looked down the barrel of his flame thrower. Torch only attacked after the boy started to beat up on him. Not to try and excuse Torch or anything since he still roasted a little boy alive, but it feels significant that he was passive up until that point when other people who've crossed his path were set on fire within moments. (and maybe him having the soul of a child himself had something to do with that)
I hope that one day we get a solo comic and movie for Torch, just like how we got one for Blade (Iron Cross). I feellike this would be the best way to expand on Torch's backstory as Erich Toulon even more and maybe even show us his relationship with his parents, Andre and Elsa (Decap and Leech Woman). I feel like there is so much potential with Torch and would love to see Full Moon expand on him more.
The one at the beginning is a creation by Matt Darry, a worker who was hired by Magrew. It is not Torch at all. They look nothing alike. The puppet at the beginning of Curse looks half human with red lipstick. Torch has a huge helmet for a head.
@@Tchernobog well there is a cosmetic for Torch in puppet master: the game that is this puppet called 'Freak'. Yeah it's not Torch. From the wiki it says Magrew placed Matt Darrys soul into this puppet and considered it a failure, so he lit it on fire in the woods.
@@Zamollius_the_Holy Homonculus is a cosmetic for Totem Ravager. Toy Soldier is a cosmetic for Zombietoid. They are different characters. Tank is a cosmetic for Decapitron. The game dev just didn't feel they were different enough to be their own thing.

I love what Action Lab did with the Puppets. They made them characters instead of just special effects
