Soprano Lucy Anderson performs 'Ten lásky sen' from The Bartered Bride earlier this year at our Young Artist Close-Up, accompanied by Florent Mourier.
In this aria, Mařenka believes that her love, Jeník, has betrayed her by selling the rights to marry her to another person. Left alone to consider her options, she laments the fact that her dream of a long and happy life with him seems to be over.
One of our 2022 Young Artists, Lucy Anderson will be performing the role of Tatyana in our Young Artists performance of Eugene Onegin on 13 and 23 June.
