Hey Rigor! That's awesome! Welcome to the team! I don't know if you are on Facebook, however if you are we have two groups, one for owners and DIY and another one for fishing. I will send you the link to both of them, there are other inflatable boat owners in the main group, it's a great place to ask questions and get a hold of people to do some fishing with that are near you. The biggest Scout Inflatables recommends is no more than a 5 HP. I currently have an 8HP as you see in the video, however if you do plan on getting something bigger I highly recommend you reinforce your transom with some aluminum plates. The reason for that is when you have a bigger motor on Full Throttle there's a lot of force pulling down on your transom causing it to peel or rip off. i like your setup as I mentioned b4, but I noticed something, you not using the safety lanyard at that speed?
Good eye. I wasn’t wearing my safety lanyard when I had my shirt off. But I also wasn’t traveling at fast speeds. I was mainly drifting with the motor in idle. When I am traveling up fast speeds I do have the lanyard connect to my life jacket. But it is behind me, not on my wrist where it would get in the way.

how long does it to air pump up the scout
The foot pump, about 15 minutes if you’re going quickly. The electric battery powered one that you saw on the video, about five minutes. The one I have at home that plugs into the wall, a minute 30 seconds.
What type is your truck rack
It was an older model from Harbor freight. But they no longer make them.
Is this boat self bailing
Yes and no, mine was until I reinforced the transom with aluminum plates, I had to remove the scupper hole in the back and now I have to manually pump out water which is not an issue. But yes they are self bailing when you are at full throttle and you haven’t put aluminum plates on the back.
