Great video. Im not from the south, but i completly understand how randy feels.
My home is california. My state once had a very rich cultural heritage. The gold rush, the end of the great expansion, surfing, the beach boys, motorcycles, hot rods, beautiful women, hollywood(the classic hollywood), james dean. Ext, ext, ext.
I live now in the frozen north of alaska. My culture has been hyjacked by the left. California was once a place that a person could be very proud to call their homeland, now its a laughing stock.
I know what randy means by the smell of the air. I know what pride in ones home feels like. Unfortantly, this has been robed from me.
To all you southerners....dont give an inch on your history or your traditions.
I wont be buried in my homeland, i hope that you can.

Randy is one of the most humble people you will ever meet.
I will always remember how the entire band would wait and greet anyone who wanted to meet them after a concert.

Just returned from a weekend trip to Mentone and Fort Payne. Beautiful area...laid back, peaceful, and not commercialized. Can’t wait to get back!

Yep, I loved to come to lGeraldine Alabama andsee ALL my family (especially) my cousins!! But, then I was ready to get home to Tennessee. We went to see them at least 2+ weekends a month.. I still think about our times.... Kickball, walking to my cousin's house to tell them I'm here;:: Walking in the PITCH BLACK DARK going home to my aunts house through the cow PASTURE as our short cut. NO MOON.... NO LIGHT!!! We FELL over EVERY a cow in that FIELD!!!!! I'LL NEVER FORGET Those TIMES!!! With love

Alabama is a great band with down to earth real country boys that made a great living playing real music, I’m glad to see Randy enjoying retirement and getting to do what he really enjoys, I go camping in Fort Payne every other year and I have been in the little river canyon it’s beautiful I know why he loves it there

I can’t believe that during the pandemic, how much has changed so drastically. It’s so good to see a recent video of Randy Owen. I missed seeing him, Ted Gentry and Jeff Cook since when they were young and we were already experiencing a revolution in country music. I still listen to the music with tears in my eyes.
