- I have set myself the challenge to knit and crochet 5 items within a week. This is a really great way to get out of my comfort zone and force myself to just MAKE something without overthinking it too much. I wanted to actually make a few of the pieces that I have been inspired by lately, including some crochet accessories and bigger knit projects. This is your sign to cast on that project you have been thinking about for weeks and just MAKE IT!

something simple that might help with the sound-transfer of the knitting machine is by making sure the surface you're suing it on has those little slide-y felt stickers underneath. It wouldn't prevent sound transfer through the ceiling/floor, but it would likely minimize it to an extent
I will have to look into that! I do just think those machines are very loud, I think even my sewing machine might make a lot of noise in that room 🥲
hi! I love your videos :) I find your color palettes and patterns very inspiring :) i am a novice when it comes to fiber arts, but one thing that i've learned that was fun is that when you are crocheting a hat and get to the part where you have created the circle and are going to start creating the length of the hat, most patterns will have you crochet it into the outer/inner loop to create the downward motion, but this creates a small ridge in the overall project. in order to avoid that you can just keep crocheting as normal and because you are no longer adding increases it will naturally create a slope :) just wanted to share because it was very fun for me to learn lol, i am very excited to make your granny square hood!!! als0 that vest!!!!!

Thank you! The only two adjustments I ended up making was 1. not to blst when the pattern calls for it and instead just crochet as normal and 2. extend the rim by a few rows
