- Boston Celtics Head Coach Joe Missoula was asked about two black coaches coaching in the NBA Finals. His response wasn't what the woke sports media brigade was hoping for.

I understand and appreciate your point(s). I'm sixty-six, and remember when there were no black head coaches in the NBA (I was eight or nine yrs. old when the Celtics named Bill Russell.-- I was a Celtic fan, so I remember that, too.) So, in defense of the reporter's question, there was a time when *plight* would have been a perfectly-apt word to describe the black NBA coaching situation. And it's pretty damn cool to see the progress that's been made in my short lifetime.

First I don't think the First Amendment should be abridged. Secondly, people have to be judged on their coaching skills individually. And just because there's some statistics that divide people doesn't mean that they're accurate. It's the dividers that have the problem.
