Love this. We are in the process of converting a 45' coach into a tiny home and part of that was raising the roof 12 inches so I could have some standing headroom. Cutting the thing in half was one job, but fabricating and installing the extensions for the frame ribs was quite another! That little welder did the job beautifully.
I have had a Titanium 125 for about 3 years now. I love it. I also have a stick welder but I usually use the 125 for most things. The stick welder usually burns through 1/8 steel. The 125 can do that and thinner steel. I also like it that I can hook it up to a generator and weld something out in the middle of the woods somewhere.
I'm really thinking of learning how to weld with this and then I'll make my own exhaust at home. Vroom vroom. Edit: it'll cost you less if you find a fair priced shop. Otherwise your spending around 1100 bucks on something that could cost 500 for someone else to do.
@@-DIYPRO- will do. Im gunna go with the 125 instead of the 200. I don't see myself welding much after this project except for a square tube railing. Thanks for replying to all my comments on ur videos!
I bought this and new to welding really know little about it and this machine is amazing; however, I struggle with with this on exhaust pipe or sheet metal as they are so thin,,,good luck may want to research if this is best for that.
Love all your test vidios. I purchased the Harbor Freight black one 120v years ago sill working great, I'm and old sick welder so flux welding is a learning curve for me. I just bough a Andeli 5in 1 machine it's a 120v -220 Amazon kinda sucked me in on it prime day it was on sale for $318 I thought I would give it a try if it's no good I only have $300 invested in it. Do you know anything about the Andeli made in China machine? Thanks Bob
Very good video. I ended up getting the little red one because I knew I didnt know what I was doing as a beginner, and opted for the trusted name brand. I walked into a HF and put my hands on their line of welders. Somebody had already gone through there and turned all the knobs too far so that every knob would keep turning around and around ... put me over the edge to get the name brand. I have been extremely happy with it for two years. But, you def make this one look like a great option if one takes care of it. One dislike about the red one, it can only take 1lb spools. Can that green one take larger spools of wire? Thanks, I always appreciate your videos.
@@-DIYPRO- I sure wish anyone could explain (not in vague terms or general phrases, but by showing us the costs) as to why every single item made here has to cost at least twice as much as damn near everything made anywhere else. The Vulcan wire is made in Italy. Is their cost of living that much lower?
Did you look into swapping polarity.I have some SS flux core wire that calls for Positive ground. MY 90 amp Chicago that has been modified with a 150 amp rectifer and large capacitor could swap the polarity but would like to modify the Titanium.
What is your opinion on other 110v flux only machines or multi process one's from the like of Yeswelder, Bestarc Arcaptain and would you still recommend this Titanium?
I like Yeswelder and Arcaptain, haven't tried a Bestarc yet. If you have any desire to do other processes then grab one of those. If flux core is your game then stick with the Titanium. I think the Titanium has better settings than those others.
Bought one a few days ago, can’t get it to work. Powers up, I’m grounded good. Feeds wire iust fine. Won’t arc, no clue what’s wrong with it. Gonna take it back and get it money back.
I put mine thru hell for 4 years, never able to trip the duty cycle, did burn the gun out, picked up a 2nd welder yesterday, when I figure out how to fix the gun that welder will be up again :)
Like and Subscribe, it's free........to subscribe, not the welder!
5 years and it's still my go to welder!

Excellent!
Bought this welder several years ago on your recommendation...don't use it too often but is always flawless and convenient when I do
Right on! Thanks Gary!

Right on, good to hear what people are doing with it!
Mine has been outside in the elements for ten years and still works great. Literally out in the rain!!!
Decided to pick one of these up on the deal of the day today. Thanks for the review
Right on!
Great vid - I love follow up tool reviews to see how well things last. I really should get one of these.
Thanks!
Maybe you can use the welder to weld a handle on the welder
You are a genius! But since my little clip is broken I'll have to do that on the next one!
Inception welding :D
I feel like the confused JOhn Cena meme would work well here

I love that welder, that welder is very 120 volts Thicc🎉🎉🎉
Thank you son much for all this information, Excellent review!

The Vulcan spools that they sell and fit on the machine are 2 lb
Thanks!
As long as it's not the larger 10 lbs spool It can take a 2lb and smaller.
Yea, a while ago Lincoln switched theirs from 2lb down to 1 lb.......and still charge the same amount! It is good wire though!
@@-DIYPRO- Wow, I didn't even know that lol thanks

I haven't but keep up posted on if you end up doing it and getting it to work!
The welder is already positive ground.
Please try primewelder?

Just picked one up today. HF has a 20% off coupon for the weekend, making this $120.
Just got me one too today
Right on, that was a sweet deal.
Silly question: what happens if I run it on a 25 foot 12 gauge extension cord ?
Cord will get really hot. If it's turned down it might not be too bad, just be careful.
**It can actually catch on fire...
Where do you get that round steel measuring tool you used?
It was from a fabrication shop. It was a piece of their "drop" or scrap.
Bought one a few days ago, can’t get it to work. Powers up, I’m grounded good. Feeds wire iust fine. Won’t arc, no clue what’s wrong with it. Gonna take it back and get it money back.
check by the spool if there's a ground wire not screwed/attached to a terminal.
The last check I always do it try to put a small weld directly onto the ground. If still nothing then I'd take it back.
The power cord doesn't look like 10ga. May I ask why the extension cord should be?
if you run too many amps through an extension cord it will light on fire. bigger cords can handle more amps
@scroingus2279 thanks. I understand that but its own cord isn't as big as the 10ga recommended in video. Or perhaps it simply appears to be smaller?
If you upgrade your ground clamp would that void your warranty
I would say yes. You can always just keep it in the box and if you do have to return it put the oem back on.
Wats the duty cycle most of these small machines heat up pretty quickly
30% at 90 amps.
I wish these came with a 20 amp breaker. 😁
...and some 12 ga. romex to run a new outlet!
@@-DIYPRO- And a shop. Let's not skip. 😁
Can I have one of these ?
I like the "improvement" list, but I doubt Harbor Freight is listening.
Weld a handle to it
If the latch would hold I'd totally do that!

Right on, keep us posted on if you find another gun or an aftermarket one that you get working.
Ive done the same thing and the welder still kicks along..i burnt up my gun too. Bought one off amazon for 38 bucks and right back to work it went...
@@jtaylor9355 so on Amazon just look for titanium replacement gun?
