Yes, my guys r doin it up, back n tha 80’s… LoVe me some JBJ + BON JOVI… then, now & of course Forever!!! Thx Y’all 4 Rockin Us, 4 Music, tha Memories!!!❤️🌹🖤🌹🖤🌹❤️
Ahh to have been a teen of the 80's...It was THE BEST!!!!!!! Such an era of freedom, expression, upbeat energy, NO politically correct squibs peeing on everything. People had a sense of humor and didn't take offense at everything. We didn't have F'ing smartphones filming every second of our boring lives, people sought thrill and fun for the hell of it instead of for fakebook. The social justice warriors were still miserable little urchins under their rocks. Life was altogether 10000000% more vibrant. Great memories.
Awesomely put. I'm now 53 and through the 80's, the gang were at gigs every week. We followed Bon Jovi around the country, UK. Manchester, Donington, Milton Keynes, Stoke wherever...Their whole package of albums, touring and attitude made it all worthwhile. Dam right to, NO F**king phones. We have better.. The memories of being there and being part of their kingdom....SWW, still one of my most played albums. EVen got to meet them after their gig at Hanley Victoria Hall.....
@@1061sarahs My mom saw Bon Jovi for the first time in 1987 at Pittsburgh civic arena on July 18 of 87 and she saw jon bon jovi fly above the crowd at the same concert. 30 years later she tells me that she got to see them live in 87, I was jelous of my mother because of that.
I was born in 1970 this song this group was awesome fun times ice hockey parties on the tracks and if you liked a girl you could be shy or maybe cop a feel not today if you do that now as a teen you are put on mess or something
I was born is '73 & so my school life was throughout the 80's, so I qualify as a child of the 80's and your statement is 100% correct. Especially the bit about smart phones and Facebook. The 80's was a great decade to grow up in, only we just didn't realise it at the time.
great time to be a teen..one of the last great times IMO..though im sure the 60s n 70s rocked too, but being a teen in the 80s and growing up to this soundtrack was just fn awesome! never been happier than when i was a kid!
I'm totally in love with this video since I was seven years old. somehow I lost the video tape... I'm so glad that someone put it up on youtube, thank you so much :)
@2:26 I remember all the headbangers who were into Metallica,Motley Crue,Slayer,Megadeath, etc... When Slippery When Wet came out ,it and Bon Jovi became so huge, they were into it/them too. I was 22. some of the best times of my life.
this is when jon was only one-sided mind guy. Just purely career and fame. But now, i salute him for giving back and helping out for the community. Love and support his two foundations.
Slippery when wet is a masterpiece album with all songs must have been released as a single. The only albums to compete with it in 80s pop metal era iş guns n roses appetite for destruction and def leppard hysteria
Happy days 14 YEARS old when slippery when wet was released never thought 46 and still love it classic album wish they would play more off it live rather than bland last 3 albums no wonder Richie sambora walked away
@@tishawatkins7797 I was born in 1996 & my parents raised me listening to 60s,70s, and 80s music of all genres. I've fallen deeply in love with hair metal especially. How could I not have with bands like Bon Jovi who were all about having fun & making people happy? The good looks are simply a bonus. Also....0:17 Hi Jon! 😍❤😘🥰💕💞
As much as Bad Medicine was inspired by the Rolling Stones Jumping Jack Flash i have always thought Wild in the Streets was inspired by Thin Lizzy's The Boys are Back in Town. It gives off totally the same vibes when listening to it.
Jon. My first love and heartbreak, lol. Both. I'm like P! NK. Lol. Once he got secretly married. 🤷😭😭😭😡🤣 As my obsessed ways in 89'. Yep. Cheater in my eyes, lol. Age 14. 🤣

Honestly I always thought Ticos fill at 3:30 was the coolest part of this song. It’s only 2 seconds long but it’s so noticeable. IMO.

You ought to try his dad's pasta sauces! they rock!!!!
I wouldnt say he was a one sided mind guy. I mean, he supported and appeared in an antidrugs ad and many other things.

Appetite for destruction is definitely not "pop metal".
@@MaVeRiCk77 yeah, AFD is more of a Hard Rock album.

I thought this song was "While in the Streets"
@usaf890man wild in the streets
Helix eat your heart out.
I boil lemons
Good song, but I do feel it is a bit repetitive
Good track to sing when you're a bit drunk though lol
Slippery when wet!
The other wild in the streets is better
Circle Jerks did it better!
pistebasher123 this cane out way earlier!
No, the Circle Jerks song was four years earlier (82) than Slippery When Wet (86).
