2:01 I just realized this dirty joke has a double entendre (or meaning). The first is obvious: “Here it comes”. However the second is easy to miss. Two terms for participating in gay sexual intercourse are pitcher (the giver) and catcher (the receiver). The fact that Chowder failed to “receive” would make Panini very happy, because it would mean that Chowder is not gay. This would explain why she said “did we?” when Chowder was upset that he missed the ball (meaning that she scored a victory in that she still had a chance with him). Sadly, you guys are all wrong. Most of the Mazipan Police Department arenames after sandwiches, and two, Sergeant Hogie and Officer Grinder are named after the sub sandwich. “Hoagie” and “Grinder” are regionalisms in the Northeast US for this type of sandwich. That being said, sub sandwiches are pretty phallic.

I don't know if it's because of the editing, but the show's animation is even better than I remember it being, this almost looks like a movie
I agree with you on the animation. It's got that special touch Greenblatt added to his show which makes it stand out from the rest. The overlapping patterns on the clothing and that rough draft look from older Cel-animated cartoons.
