1: she’s creative.
She isn’t like other “thrift flippers” and she doesn’t just turn baggy shirts into crop tops and calls it a “flip”. She’s amazing at what she does
2. Proving you don’t have to be “thick” to be a baddie or hot
I’m straight but I’m just saying that my girl over here looking straight FIRE 24/7 without having to have major cleavage or jiggly thighs. She’s a skinny legend and I’m for it

I studied fashion design. Learned to sew for 4 years straight and there is no way I sew the way you do in the slightest. I'm very impressed. Sewing is definitely a skill y'all.

I appreciate that you actually sew things properly. I’m sick and tired of clicking on a “DIY” video and it’s all just people cutting off the hems of everything! Some of them even do it with sweaters and dresses!!! As a fellow seamstress it hurts my heart to see all the pieces that will just completely unravel. It’s one thing if you put stitches above to prevent excess fray, but they literally just cut it and leave it like that 🤮

Lola Pennyburg When you cut something to a raw hem, it will likely look cute and distressed for a couple of washes before unraveling beyond repair. If you want a raw hem but also want it to last, the best thing to do it to put a line of tight stitches where you want the fray to stop. T shirts can sometimes stay looking cute if you just cut them off because they’ll roll, but cropping sweaters and dresses will absolutely ruin them if you don’t do any sewing. For dresses, I suggest doing an invisible seam by hand, and for sweaters you can move the batting up and serge it back on. Or if you’re lazy like me you can just serge the sweater and leave it like that.
