lost world exactly what happened, loss of power steering means the steering will only turn a certain amount of angle and after that you have to put in way more power, really hard to react to midcorner.
I'm sorry but it looks like you didn't put any effort into it. Just turn the wheel harder instead of being like : "well, my steering pump gave out. Let's try to slow down and see where I end up". Ofcourse this is just what I can see in the video. I wasn't there.
I would probably acted similliar, have you tried to drive e46 without power steering ? I can imagine loosing power steering suddenly mid corner could be really scary, at least in first moments until you realize what just happened
@@Mikescze My aux belt snapped while driving. Yes, the steering wheel felt slightly heavier, but nowhere even near "I can't turn this shit anymore", as long as you're somewhat up to speed. Some sportier cars like Lotus (can't remember what type exactly) don't even have powersteering, to get more road feel

LF20 pomp? I replace on ZF pomp after broken 2xLF20 power steering pomp.
use luk lf30 pump. used in e39. and used in e46 only on year in 2002. lf20 are breaking, lf30 live forever

Try suddenly losing power steering during a sharp corner at 80mph, it's a bit different than snapping a fan belt doing 40 on a straightaway in town...
