Wow! You guys messed up. The Liberator is a real weapon. It's not a joke. It was made in the millions as an ultra cheap firearm to be dropped into occupied nations, such as France for Freedom fighters, during WW2. It was a single-shot .45 ACP pistol with a handful of spare rounds stored in the grip. It had no rifling in the barrel. Instructions for its operation were a set of black & white photos to overcome language barriers. The idea was that an individual would get as physically close as possible to an enemy soldier or officer, and then shoot them in the head. Before fleeing, take the dead enemy's rifle or pistol and any spare ammo they could. Obviously to be done far from any crowds. Then, take The Liberator pistol and pass it on to another Freedom fighter. Specifically one who had no firearms himself. Lather, rinse, *repeat* until the last .45 round was used up. Then, throw The Liberator away. Which, due to their ultra cheap construction, you'd want to do so anyway as they were made to last about as long as it took to fire those handful of spare rounds each pistol came with. These things were not made to last. Simply made to allow Freedom fighters to kill an enemy combatant, and steal his (much better) gun.

I love when you first pull out the Kolibri your character puts it close to his face, and you can tell he is thinking,"I know our military don't have alot of money, but are they serious?"
The spas alone, you have to hold a button down to load the tube magazine, and it was designed to be semi auto and can be toggled to pump action, the purpose for this was so when using low power and/or breeching rounds that dont have enough power to cycle the semi auto action, in other words of you were using it for combat you would put it on semi auto mode, so in mw2 it should be semi. Also yes the closer the target the more devastating the shot is but the idea that if they are 30 yards away it seems to do no damage, and even if you lost that much power at longer ranges in real shot shells, i wish they made slugs an option. Even if it had to be an "attachment" it would still be handy. Of course the aa12 is not only a good shotty in games, its one of the best weapons in call of duty. Ok sorry went on a bit of a rant here haha
Bit of info for you. The .45 Liberator was a small, inexpensive stamped metal, single-shot, smooth-bore pistol designed to be dropped in MASSIVE numbers to Resistance cells in Occupied Territory. It was purely for the purpose of killing an enemy soldier, taking his weapon, and then discarding the Liberator. It was NEVER meant to be used in full on battle. In reality, though mass produced, fewer than 25,000 of the original 500,000 were shipped out and even fewer saw use. There is only one documented assassination in occupied France using the Liberator but not much else. Some were issued to England but were either dumped into the ocean or melted down by war's end and an estimated 100,000 were shipped to China to be used against both the Japanese and the Communists. Ironically, though it's a joke weapon in Battlefield, it is actually one of the most sought after WWII firearms could easily fetch $2,500-$4,500 at auction (provided it is in mint condition along with the original box and the book of instructions that went with it. (It cost $2.10 per pistol back in WWII.) What makes it so rare is the fact that it was a trash weapon, meant to be thrown away once a Partisan got their hands on a submachinegun or a rifle and that's what most Resistance fighters did. Very few actually kept them and even fewer kept the box and instruction booklet.
Another poor “weapon”that is situational at best is the Huntress Boltcaster in the 2017 version of Prey. It’s basically a nerf gun used to distract enemies or to hit remote switches.
It did come in handy when I played the path that I like to call "no alien upgrades", so the big irritating monster doesn't spawn. In the end, it still spawned. Maybe less often, but it was still irritating
The original useless Bubble Gun was in Earthworm Jim 2. To make it even worse, you weren't able to switch between guns, so you had to keep firing it until you ran out of "ammo".
The Syringe Rifle in Fallout 4 deserves to be on here. You can see where the devs were going with the weapon. Being able to inflict various status effects to enemies seems dope. But you need to craft the ammo for it and the crafting material can be a pain to acquire depending on the type of ammo you want. Also the only damaging one you can create does very little damage to the point that it's practically useless when trying to kill something. It ends up being a complete disappointment that you only ever wanna use if you want to mess around.
Kolibri plus landmines and you have a very confused tanker when the fragscreen show 3 frags with a kolibri :D There's quite a challenging achievement to unlock in Battlefield 1 with it; you have to destroy a BEHEMOTH with the KOLIBRI! Also, did you know you can frag someone with your gasmask in BF1? ;)

There was a totally useless weapon in oblivion, the dagger of friendship. It did just 5 damage, and also gave the character you attacked 5 health points, but using on an npc still counted as an attack.
The fork of horripilation was worse lmao
Or worse still: picking up and using any of the ceremonial weapons/armor from display cases 😂😭
That gun from Bordelands 2 is unbelievably hilarious!
so that's why I was so terrible at 007! I just thought the gun looked cool so I would always use it.
Playing coop with my buddies back in highschool and my friend made us do this random mission to get the bane. Only he knew what it was and said the guns amazing. We got it and all rocked it at the same time. It's in the top 5 hardest/longest laughs I've ever had in my life
The kolibri is actually good for the scout class. You body shot someone with a sniper, they have 1hp left, then you shoot them with the kolibri once. Boom! Combo made in heaven.
It’s still not „good“ for the scout class.^^
the Kolibri is unironically a decent finisher, it does 10 damage, the firing speed doesn't feel that slow
but it's still bad lol
“There’s a lot of no good sons a bitches out there. Some men were just born to be buried.”
I keep the bane equipped in my inventory to scare my friends when we play borderlands every now and then. Its great. Its so loud that they can hear it when they are really far away from me.
Watching gameranx on binge means seeing the same damn memes over n over... hoe many times am i gonna see travolta shrugging and danny devito shaking his head?
About the Kolibri "I feel like I'm gonna break this damn thing" 🤣
The bane was like one of my favorite quest guns and what made me like it even more is that it’s voiced by tiny tina’s voice actress
(It cost $2.10 per pistol back in WWII.)
What makes it so rare is the fact that it was a trash weapon, meant to be thrown away once a Partisan got their hands on a submachinegun or a rifle and that's what most Resistance fighters did. Very few actually kept them and even fewer kept the box and instruction booklet.
0:12: 10. Water Pistol (Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain)

2:28: 8. Bane (Borderlands 2)
4:11: 7. SMR (Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Zombies)
5:18: 6. PS20 (Deus Ex)

8:54: 3. Happy Bubble Blaster (Just Cause 2)
9:49: 2. Anti-Gadoid Gun (Dying Light)
10:58: 1. Everything (Daikatana)
The Bane was great! Especially if you get the gunzerker.
The battlefield kolibri is really good dude
Another poor “weapon”that is situational at best is the Huntress Boltcaster in the 2017 version of Prey. It’s basically a nerf gun used to distract enemies or to hit remote switches.
It did come in handy when I played the path that I like to call "no alien upgrades", so the big irritating monster doesn't spawn. In the end, it still spawned. Maybe less often, but it was still irritating
Also good for detonating those explosive enemies that you see in the zero-G area
Early Mozambique from Apex Legends are so fun since it's the most disrespectful way to die on the game.
@0:38 Hmmm… Distracting guns. That would be nice. lol
Kolibri plus landmines and you have a very confused tanker when the fragscreen show 3 frags with a kolibri :D There's quite a challenging achievement to unlock in Battlefield 1 with it; you have to destroy a BEHEMOTH with the KOLIBRI! Also, did you know you can frag someone with your gasmask in BF1? ;)
I remember running into that screaming gun in borderlands xD ...what a memorable day that was... Never been so annoyed in my life. I remember thinking, "god this is most 'borderlands' gun I've even seen" lmao
Inn Black Ops 1 I used to troll people with the Mac11 and they'd be so mad especially in S&D lmfao
Same with the F2000 in MW2
Getting good with bad guns are so hilarious
The Mac 11 was pretty good tho so was the p2000 lol just cause it’s small doesn’t mean it isn’t good…
You forgot every gun from the Doom series, they make demons useless and it's hilarious!
The Kolibri is awesome! There was a Kolibri only server and it was lit
These guns prove that bad things in games can sometimes the the most fun for a short while at least
